Dreamglade lives up to its name, providing a spectacular setting, loving and friendly staff, and ayahuasca ceremonies that light up your bones. This is a place not to miss. Dreamglade deserves to be booked up far into the future.

If you want the good stuff without the problems or poor quality associated with many other centers, go to Dreamglade.

Nestled around a beautiful fresh water pond in the jungle, Dreamglade is an ideal sanctuary for authentic Shipibo-style Ayahausca ceremonies.

The facilities are very good, the malocca is exceptional. The food is actually great. The staff are super friendly and fun to be around, and the ceremonies are outright amazing. Estella and Raul gave us nights of beautiful medicine, and did very fine work.

Stace, Drew and the others at Dreamglade make this place special and safe. You will find the transformative experiences and healing you seek. Plus you’ll enjoy throwing yourself repeatedly into the refreshing pond.

My hat is off to Stace and the shamans there, Dreamglade is fabulous !!

It’s hard to put into words the experience that Dreamglade has been for me.

But I’m going to; because anyone seeking true healing needs to know how safe, supportive, and deeply transformational the experience can be for you at this Healing center.

I’m going to start with the people because they truly are what make the experience what it is.

Stace the owner cares deeply about the guests and their experience. From the time he picks you up personally in Iquitos until the time he brings you back, he is creating an atmosphere of safety, trust and healing. He has deep experience and knowledge with the medicine as well as spiritual and emotional healing. He is present facilitating each ceremony, helping with integration, and always putting the safety and well-being of guests first. He is an ethical business owner. His motivations appear to be strictly about healing, and helping the center and ShIpibos he works with, to be self-sustaining.

Drew was a major part of my healing experience at Dreamglade. The best way I can describe Drew is that he is clearly aligned with his Soul’s purpose and doing the work he is meant to do. Whether it’s joking around telling stories, doing much of the day to day operations that keep the experience wonderful for guests, having deep conversations about what came up in ceremony, discussing spiritual practices, or throwing the Frisbee, Drew helps you connect and feel safe. He is a gifted facilitator.

Jess has a wonderful way of introducing Yoga that makes it easily accessible for a beginner. I really enjoyed her laid back personality as well as her singing in ceremony. Jess brings a great calming energy.

Raul is a gifted Curandero. His Icaros are beautiful, powerful, and you can tell he has a strong connection with not only Ayahuasca but many different plant medicines and spirits. The one on one healing work with him was amazing and I left Dreamglade feeling clear and strong mentally, physically and spiritually.

The other staff keep the different spaces very clean and the food is great even when you are on Dieta. The Maloka is beautiful and having my own private space in the Tambo was great as well. I am a very light sleeper so it was great to have private space where I could rest in solitude. There are also plenty of quiet spaces on the center grounds where you can read, journal, meditate, nap, whatever you need to do.

I thought the way the retreat is structured is perfect. The attitude is laid back. I never felt pressured to do anything. Drew leading breathwork was great and an awesome tool to take home. So was yoga with Jess. The sauna and plant baths are cleansing. It’s nice having clean modern toilets and showers. Also the library is tremendous- especially if you are a spiritual seeker.

I chose Dreamglade on the front end because of the flexible schedule, the vibe I got from Stace on the YouTube doc, and the price. My expectations were exceeded. If you are looking for a healing experience, plenty of time to reflect and look inward, and are looking for a safe clean environment to do this work, go to Dreamglade.

With love and gratitude,

Narinder S – Thailand

The overall experience at Dreamglade was the safest and supportive environment to work with plant medicine that I could have ever imagined! Dreamglade is more than just ayahuasca but in its true essence is a healing centre.

The staff upheld the highest level of integrity and compassion, it felt like being a part of a family and a lot of care and attention in helping me to get better. We received a rich amount of information, instruction, support, and guidance, before, during, and after the retreat from Stace and he is immaculate in ensuring your safety.

The centre’s location was therapeutic on its own and easy access from Iquitos. The food was fresh, delicious and generous. Above all there is a strong sense that my care was infused with genuine kindness, care, and compassion – Drew was my guiding star throughout my stay. Abundance of kindness from Jess and Dan. The healing and transformation that took place was life-changing. Heartfelt gratitude.

Christian H – London, U.K.

Spent two weeks at this magical place after doing much research on which center to go with. This place exceeded my high expectations and I can’t say enough good things about it.

Stace and Drew genuinely care about the people coming here and after only a few days it felt more like being around old friends rather than strangers I’ve met a few days before.

The place is beautiful, the food healthy and plentiful and the whole staff friendly. The location is close to Iquitos yet it feels completely remote with no outside noises or influences. The curanderos take their work extremely seriously and lead some powerful ceremonies.

Needless to say I won’t be drinking ayahuasca anywhere else.

Gino P – U.S.A.

Going into my stay at dreamglade, I was nervous and not sure what to expect. From the first day, to the last, the staff provided a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment.

The night of my first ceremony, it was explained, in great detail, what might happen and was given tips for working with the plant. During ceremony the staff does an incredible job checking in with everyone and providing assistance and guidance when needed.

Days between ceremonies were spent chatting with the other guests, drawing, reading (great selection of books), writing and swimming in the pond. Ceremony days include breathing work, yoga and sauna.

I added the plant dieta for the duration of my stay and a kambo ceremony. I would recommend both, especially the plant dieta.

I have absolutely no complaints.
Everything was incredible.
I’m grateful for my experience at dreamglade and hope to return in the future for a longer stay.

Josh G – Australia

I researched retreats extensively as the setting is so important for ayahuasca. Every time I thought I had found a good one, there was something negative that put me off. When I found Dreamglade I thought it was too good to be true, but upon arriving I realised it was even better.

The team is so supportive in many ways, and I could of easily stayed there without participating in ceremonies and still had a glowing experience. A lot of work and passion has clearly contributed to the gorgeous architecture that beautifully compliments the landscape of the jungle.

The low prices definitely don’t match the high quality of this experience. I can not recommend this safe place enough for perspective ayahuasca participants.

Robbie P – U.S.A.

Can’t recommend this place enough, the staff here genuinely cares about you and wants to help you through whatever your going through.

I was having a really difficult ceremony my last night here and needed help and Stace and Jess were there for me. Stace must have sat outside with me for 2-3 hours just talking to me and not that, ‘oh I have to sit here with this guy kind of talking’, he was genuinely listening to me and giving thoughtful answers and truly engaged in the conversation. It really meant a lot to me it honestly makes me want to cry thinking about it.

I can’t say enough good things about the place and I am eternally grateful to Stace for sitting out there with me that night and being there for me. It was exactly what the child inside me needed and never got growing up.

I can’t wait to return and do some more work on myself and I will be recommending friends, family and anyone I know who is thinking about working with the medicine.

Thanks again to Stace, Drew, Jess, Raul, Lydia and all the other staff members working hard.

Lola N – London, U.K.

I was unsure about doing anything like this, although I’ve always been open minded it never occurred to me to take the leap and go into such a remote place in Peru, and even when I got there – despite everyone being so welcoming and friendly – I was still undecided.

This is natural, you listen to the videos before you go and you think “it seems a bit exaggerated that such a simple idea, being close to nature, attuning yourself in line with what humans were meant to do, could possibly do the things they say – heal illnesses, drown out grief, pride in an ocean of happiness and purpose” – that is, in no clearer terms what happened.

It was by no means as I mentioned above an instantaneous thing, whilst I immediately enjoyed the secluded and peaceful nature of the place (made much better by the very well maintained and pleasant facilities provided) the rituals themselves were an entirely different matter.

I found myself wondering how much I would change with every single one – and it was in every single one that I learnt something – not necessarily knowledge – I couldn’t describe it to you – but I can say for certain that I am more than I was before.

I had my own problems with assertiveness and where I fitted in with regards to the grand scheme of things, I suppose its natural to think like this – but it doesn’t being a great deal of comfort in a troubled, busy modern life to not know where you’re going or when.

But now I do.

Whilst I want to tell you everything about my exact experience, I fear it would be wasted on you, as we all have our own path to walk, some may find they are already there – and in which case they will get to enjoy the wonderful experiences of the place and its people – others will see their own life flash before them – their faults, family, memories – everything, and if the healing songs are meant to work at that time – then you will be healed – a wound you may not know you had or recognised.

As a last note, I’d like to thank everyone who helped me on this journey – specifically the staff Drew and Stace for making this entire experience possible.

I wish you all well on your quest of self discovery.

Jared S – Canada

After doing a ton of research online I chose Dreamglade and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Everything about the place is magical from the staff, to the grounds, to the food, and ultimately the entire experience.

I would trust Stace the owner with my life.

Do yourself and favour and check this place out 🙂

Best in the biz!

This was my second time returning to dreamglade and will not be the last!

I am very glad I found this place once I decided not to return to the centre I had first gone to (rated #1 on trip advisor). The retreat itself is such a beautiful and peaceful space. They worked so hard to build such a wonderful centre. The staff here are what make it though! Such genuine, caring and kind people.

Although some people have food cravings during the saltless/sugarless diet – I quite enjoy the meals here! Big proportions so you won’t go hungry, even on ceremony days. Nice nutritious foods. They give the option to join a yoga class, flower steam baths and other cleansing rituals catered specifically to the individuals’ needs. Pick up and drop off service from your hotel. You will feel very safe the moment you get here.

And what can I say about healers Raul & Lidia that will do them justice! I have so much respect for these two and the amount of care they put in to your healing process is truly amazing. Thank you Stacy, Drew, Jann, Jess and to the rest of the staff.

Dreamglade is truly one of a kind.

Matthew E – U.S.A.

DreamGlade is a retreat center which operates with the highest integrity, honestly, and compassion imaginable.

One’s first encounter with and introduction to shamanic medicine can present much trepidation and anxiety. What new seekers of this kind of experience will find upon arriving in the jungle at this facility are open arms, attentive and compassionate listeners, and the utmost attention to detail.
The facilities are absolutely beautiful!
I was impressed with the level of practice surrounding the way each guest is introduced to sitting in ceremony for the first time. All questions are answered with patience and genuine thoughtfulness. I imagine the inquiries of many first-time sitters are similar, but the facilitators showed concern, warmth, and kindness in providing answers, as though they were being asked these questions for the very first time.
Stace is a gifted wizard with this medicine, possessing equal measures of great strength and great gentleness in guiding people on their journeys. He is honest during the following day’s debriefings, sharing personal anecdotes and humor as people process their emotions and takeaways. Direct but not forceful, he knows the correct words and just the right number of them to share in order to lead people to drawing their own insights and conclusions.
The beauty and effectiveness of working with this kind of medicine seems to center around finding a place where one connects to ancient modes of healing and has a bridge to the modern world and methods of communication. DreamGlade achieves this balance beautifully. The two native Shipibo Cuaranderos, Raúl and Lydia, possess supernatural abilities to sing and shape the experience of the sitters. Words cannot do justice to the beauty of their Icaros and Limpiezas; what can be said is that they are supremely gifted and they touch the spirits of everyone sitting in the room and they cultivate a safe and sacred space.
Drew exemplifies compassion and kindness. He works in tandem with Stace to guide sitters, and their fluency in English and Spanish and experience with multiple forms of shamanic medicine allows them both to be very effective bridges between past and present methods of healing, different cultures, and communicators par excellence.
Yoga classes taught by Jess are a lovely addition to the ceremonies. Clean and simple meals are prepared with love for the benefit of achieving maximum benefit from the medicine. You will not go hungry here, and your body will receive the fuel it needs to heal.
The importance of set and setting are both modeled at DreamGlade marvelously. It does seem that all angles have been covered. You will feel comfortable, safe, and in good hands coming to this place to learn, heal, and grow.
A month after visiting, I can attest to the continuing positive benefits of this kind of healing. Bearing witness to the healing of others is an incredible humbling experience. I left feeling enormous compassion for the lives and journeys of others, and in the days that have followed, feeling the same love for myself. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to experience this kind of healing for the first time at DreamGlade. A great mix of old and new, levity and seriousness, quiet introspection and open revealing. You can rest assured that this is a place where the medicine is strong, the facilitators are operating with transparency and integrity, and where you’ll walk away with a deeper and developing understanding of yourself as a whole human being.

Alina Y – U.S.A.

Coming to Dreamglade has been one of the most amazingly sacred journeys of my life and I have traveled all over the world. It’s a scary thing to travel alone, far from home to the middle of the Amazon jungle. The entire crew at Dreamglade made me feel at home and they provided SO MUCH guidance.

The prices are very reasonable and they have two Curanderos (most people use the word Shaman but they prefer Curanderos which means to cure/heal). The Curanderos are from the Shipibo Tribe who were taught by the Incas. These two are brother and sister so you get the best of both the male and feminine energies. They are extremely wise and have been working with Ayahuasca and MANY other plants & spirits for over 40 years.

The place is pure magic! You will be in one of the most vulnerable positions of your life and you will feel completely safe and well taken care of. They always work with small groups, Max 9 people, so each person gets tons of attention for the work they have come to do.

The main house has showers, full plumbing, electricity run by solar panels, delicious meals which are made with much love & care, a full library, and board games. We did yoga, breathing exercises, & the sauna is great for pulling out toxins. We always walked barefoot, I jumped into the lake daily and covered myself with the mud clay from the bottom, my skin was super soft!!

I slept in my tambo which consisted of a single bed with a mosquito net, a table and chair for journaling, and a compost toilet. No AC and no electricity in my tambo but you don’t need either. The orchestra of the jungle fulfilled my yearning to connect with nature and I got some of the best sleep of my life there. I was never too hot or too cold. You are there to work on yourself and what better way than to be without distractions? I was able to dig deep within myself, surrounded by beauty in Mama Aya’s home.
I walk away in a state of Grace, standing TALL in my liberation, and I have reclaimed my power! I now shine the light I hold in my heart.
I highly recommend Dreamglade.

Dominic – U.S.A.

I did extensive research prior to choosing Dreamglade as the location for my first ayahuasca experience. Today, over nine months later, I consider this to be the most significant decision of my life.

I’ve never received such an outpouring of love from complete strangers. Stacy, Drew, and all of the staff went to work for us. The curanderos, Raul and Lydia, were nothing short of magical.

The ayahuasca was very powerful for me. Working with the medicine in such an intimate, ceremonial setting was just what I needed to open up to the brightest and darkest parts of my being. My healing has continued to unfold in the past nine months in ways that I never imagined were possible (integration is where the rubber meets the road, by the way).

I am most definitely biased, but I cant recommend this retreat enough.

Thank you, Dreamglade. I will be back.

Steve J – U.S.A.

To begin, my review is long overdue.

I want share that my experience at Dreamglade was without a doubt one of the most transformational experiences of my adult life.

I returned to my life renewed in many ways, from my perspective, overall compassion for others, my overall feeling of ‘well-being’….  all of these aspects of my life have improved for me.

I want to personally thank Stacy, Drew, Raul & Lidia, whom I felt were some of the most compassionate people I’ve ever encountered in this life (real caretakers) as well as the staff supporting the maintenance/groundskeeping and the food preparation.

In the near future I have plans to return with my family. I highly recommend the experience at Dreamglade.

I’d hand out 10 stars if available!

Martin G – Switzerland

Dreamglade is a very special place.
My two weeks stay brought me life-changing experiences in a very profound way that made me feel like experiencing a second birth.
The place is just awesome, beautifully located in the middle of the jungle and just by itself very peaceful and relaxing, far away from modern life stress factors.
The whole staff and the shamans are just wonderful people, very friendly and helpful and are taking care of their guests with a lot of love.
Facilities and food are perfectly made and also the buildings, that are the main house, the malocca and the tambos are made with a lot of style and love to the detail.
But the most fascinating were, for sure, the six ceremonies I was experiencing during my two weeks stay. With a gentle start it took me to some intense and amazing inner travelling and exploring of my own spirit and I could literally let go of many small things and habits that are not of use anymore in my life. It felt like freeing up some blocked space in my soul, enabling some new experiences and feelings that are really awesome.
Fortunately, I have always been a very healthy man, but I have to say, after two weeks of Ayahuasca ceremonies at Dreamglade I feel even more healthier, as many small little ailments just magically disappeared.
In short, the Dreamglade Ayahuasca experience combined with the extraordinary capabilities of the shamans is a very profound, deep and wonderful experience I wouldn’t like to miss in any way.

Rachel R – New Zealand

The care given at this retreat runs deep.
Arriving in a very hectic Iquitos, confronted with the sound of thousands of motos, was a noisy start to a jungle return. Stacey came to pick me up, and I squashed into the ute with my new friends to complete the drive to Dreamglade. When Stacey cranked up the stereo with what I thought might be some Tibetan throat singing but was instead something from the summer of love in London circa 1990, I knew I was in for a different kind of experience. An experience that I came to associate with being essentially real.
Dreamglade is as aptly named, a place to dream. It is gorgeous. The water centres the experience; we became the fellowship of the pond. The physical presence of the buildings exist in harmony with the plants and allow for lovely spaces to rest, contemplate or talk throughout each day and evening. My Tambo was sweet. You are part of nature in a Tambo, and consequently, the outside does come in, but this seemed appropriate for such a journey, a journey into the heart of the plants.
This was my second retreat; my first at Dreamglade. The first retreat was a very positive, life-changing experience. I was well placed for a revisitation with Ayahuasca. After sitting post-retreat for several weeks waiting for a distillation of understanding, I arrived with this: Ayahuasca in a ceremonial setting with guardians and guides who are initiated enables a meeting with the sacred. It is this experience of the sacred that is reverberating through me.
On arrival and before the first ceremony, Stacey was very careful to guide us through what the Ayahuasca experience is and provide guidance as to how to work with the medicine. This was absolutely invaluable. So too was the monitoring and checking in during a ceremony.
Working with Ayahuasca is the most unexpected healing modality. It is ideal to leave all expectations at the door and accept whatever is gifted. This can manifest as a range of offerings. You might feel as if nothing has happened during the ceremony, the following night you drink the same amount, and you find yourself in another world, participating in a 4D experience. The journey is to engage with, to surrender to the teaching. This I was able to do actively, as a result of the guidance offered. What I did learn was the importance of engaging with a plant dieta. I worked with Ajo Sacha, Bobinsana and Clavohuasca. These three plants were my teachers, Ayahuasca the portal through which the teachings were explored.
Lydia and Raul, the Curanderos, hold Dreamglade offering protection and working with each person, both during a ceremony and outside of ceremony. After a Kambo treatment, I identified an issue in my uterus. I spoke with Drew, we went to talk with Raul who had already picked up the energy, and this was worked on and released over the next few days. Lydia and Raul’s icaros and the limpiezas were powerful. I felt completely safe, protected and free to experience the medicine, knowing that anything that came up, I could breathe through and that people were there to help me. This is essential to any retreat experience.
Drew and Jess were the daily touchstones, there for conversation, guidance, fun, mischief and support. Drew and Stacey’s care in ceremony was exemplary. The staff who work at the centre were friendly despite my inability to converse in Spanish. Jann’s clear communication and articulation of Dreamglade protocols, expectations and practicalities made it an easy choice. The accommodation is not high end, but it is very comfortable; lots of hammocks, great chairs to sit in, scores of intriguing books to read. As to my fellow travellers, the people who you end up with on retreat become part of the experience. I was grateful to be in a smaller group. Having nine people in the Maloka and around the dinner table is much quieter and calmer than 17 plus, the number you will find at most retreats. This was a critical factor in my choice to go to Dreamglade.
Will I return? Absolutely. I thank all beings; every person, every animal, including the chorus of frogs, and every plant at Dreamglade. You have given me a gift, and it is one that I am caring for each day.
I sleep each night with one of Lydia’s beautiful embroideries on my bed, knowing that I am sleeping under the songs of a Currenderos who helped to heal me.

Robert B – U.S.A.

How to begin a review…..

Well, from the outset Stacy and his team have been very attentive to any and all concerns that I had, and from what I could see and was told, those from any other participant as well.  It was clear early on that they had/have set very high standards for themselves in regards to attention to detail, care for the participants and they put a great deal of effort towards keeping a high standard of welfare.

Emails were promptly answered along with clear language stating any outstanding issues or questions that they may have. Their suggestions on where to stay and what to look out for whilst in Iquitos, along with where to eat were spot on.

As stated in other reviews but worth stating again, the healing centre that they have built, developed (developing..) is quite simply a beautiful space. Well thought-out and built with the participant in mind it offers plenty of space to either mingle with other journey participants or to go off on your own to journal or to just have time to yourself.

They accommodate the need to charge any electronics (if required) but obviously encourage you to ‘disconnect’ from electronics as much as possible…for your benefit of course. Having attended a different retreat the year before, which was rewarding and a nice experience, I can confidently state that Dreamglade is on a different level altogether.

Access to bathroom facilities during ceremony is safe and close as are showers and drinking water. Staff are very pleasant and there is a strong sense of family among everyone there. Stacy, Drew and Jess, each healers in their own right, have an intuitive sense of when to step in and help guide and when to step back.  During ceremony it is comforting to know that they check in often, but not too often. They are very respectful of your space and have a deep understanding of Ayahuasca and allow this understanding to guide them. I would suspect they would say there is no end to learning and that they get/learn from every ceremony that they are involved in.

Lydia and Raul, resident Shamans on the Dreamglade team, go above and beyond. They are on site 99.9% of the time, available for your questions or your care. If you are struggling to connect with Mother Ayahuasca they have multiple ways of working with you to help with that connection. They are there at every integration session, sharing what they experienced the evening before and answering any questions if requested. Every member of the Dreamglade team had a loving spirit, showed genuine concern for you and they loved to laugh !

It didn’t take long to see that the end game here is true healing.

Even though other retreats may offer day trips, extra curricular activities, etc…the focus here is you and your wellness/healing. Having done 7 days the previous year at a different healing centre, and 14 days this year at Dreamglade, I would highly recommend 6 ceremonies if you can swing it. The work/healing Stacy’s team did was amazing to witness over the course of the two weeks.

Could have some significant healing been done in 3 ceremonies? I suspect so, however, looking back it took 2 or 3 ceremonies for some people (along with myself) just to begin to understand some of the underlying issues that the medicine was showing us.

Whether it’s your first time working with this amazing plant medicine or your 5th, if you’re looking for an environment that focuses on your wellness and healing, ….Dreamglade and the team lead by Stacy should be at the top of your list.

Adam P – Australia

There are so many ayahuasca retreats in South America, let alone Iquitos! For readers who are overwhelmed and don’t know which one to choose, here are some important reasons to choose Dreamglade over any other retreat.

The Curanderos –  There are two curanderos, Raul and Lidia and only nine participants drinking. No other retreat is going to have a group this small with only one curandero present, let alone two! This means you will receive better care at Dreamglade than anywhere else if the ayahuasca brings up particularly difficult experiences. Also Raul and Lidia are exceptional healers that radiate love, words simply can’t describe the work they do to heal. Experience and good lineage are so important for a curandero and Raul and Lidia have got both in abundance! You could not ask for better curanderos to drink with, the love and care they have for every single living creature that arrives at Dreamglade is beautiful and inspiring.

Stace and Drew – Like the curanderos, two more exceptional human beings that make it possible to do such healing work in the safest, most loving and enjoyable environment possible. During the ceremonies they are simply amazing, whatever happens. They are very experienced with drinking ayahuasca themselves and caring for people under its influence and anything you need in the ceremony they will take care of. Experiencing the work they do to help people heal is truly humbling. Needless to say, they are incredibly helpful with anything you could possibly need during the entirety of your stay, not just during the ceremonies.

The Facilities – Dreamglade is an off grid paradise with great showers and toilets, loads of hammocks, clean and comfortable tambos, excellent kitchen facilities and an exceptional communal area with places to relax, books to read, movies and documentaries to watch and games to play. The Maloka is a beautiful building for the ceremonies that provides good space for each person. Perhaps the best part of all is the man made lake where you can swim, kayak or just float around on a tyre on a hot day. When I was there in October 2017 the retreat was undertaking further work to build a sauna too.
The layout of the retreat allows for a person to have plenty of individual space to relax and think if they desire solitude, or there are numerous areas where you can be social if you wish.

The lack of mozzies ! Dreamglade has an incredible machine that is non toxic and keeps the mosquitoes away from you. It sounds too good to be true, but it’s not!

The Food – You will always have more delicious and fresh food available than you can eat!

The Animals – For animal lovers who miss their pets at home, you can play with an adorable cat or three dogs!

The Price – Dreamglade makes access to this amazing medicine cheap and what you get for your stay there is impossible to put a monetary value on.

Flexible dates – Being able to choose exactly how long you stay for and how many ceremonies you do is a huge help when planning your trip to Peru and this flexibility is not offered by most other retreats.

Other services such as Kambo, free yoga classes and a sweat lodge –

These are just nine reasons. Overall, Dreamglade is a jungle paradise that you really should visit. If you are looking for space to heal with ayahuasca there is no place better or safer. By the end of your stay you will be blown away by the power of the medicine, the loving and relaxed environment created by the amazing people that work at the retreat and the perfect facilities that let you enjoy the jungle in comfort.

 Anna & Tony – Australia

As soon as we arrived to the resort we knew that we have chosen the perfect place for our Ayahuasca experience.

The Ayahuasca team and the whole group felt like very close family members and coming to Dream Glade truly felt like coming home.

I am and will be forever grateful to Raul, Lidia, Stacy and Drew for putting so much effort into getting rid of the parasite that has attached itself to my fragmented soul.

Since the parasite has been gone, on a physical level I have much more energy, and on a spiritual level I have healed lots of my childhood wounds and negative emotions. I’m choosing to listen to my heart and feelings and that made me become more kind and loving towards myself and others, also by increasing my compassion I feel more love, confidence and Self Esteem.

Tony feels much less stress at work, and is much more chilled out about life itself, both of us are having lots of lucid dreams and our relationship has gotten even better.

Additionally somehow by our Ayahausca experience and by healing ourselves the people that are closest to us were affected in a very positive way as well.

Overall the whole experience was fantastic and we’ll be definitely coming back to Dreamglade, moreover some of our friends and family members are looking forward to coming along!!

Much love ❤

Greg H – New York, U.S.A

The center is about 20 minutes outside of Iquitos, then another 20 minutes down a (bumpy) dirt road.  It’s in a relatively remote area and is more or less free from noise pollution, which I very much enjoyed. The Big House was still being finished while I was there, but it served nicely as a communal space/dining room/library/movie theater.  I stayed in a tambo but slept in the maloka on ceremony nights.  The occasional privacy, undisturbed mornings, and personal pond-front hammock were nice, but staying in the maloka every night wouldn’t have made the experience significantly less enjoyable.  Most of the walkways and hangout spots are covered, so you don’t need sunscreen.  I was there during the rainy season, and the mosquitoes were biting… C’est la jungle. (I took no pills and didn’t get malaria, BTW.)  Jumping in the pond is a good way to cool off, and I’m now in love with hammocks.
Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful.  Jann was great with the emails — quick replies, walked me through my options, recommended hotels in Iquitos, etc.  Stace made things run like clockwork and helped a number of people through some tough times.  He only stays on ceremony nights, so Drew was the on-site supervisor/caretaker, and he was magnificent.  He has a big heart and was always ready to help.  I only speak a little bit of Spanish, so I didn’t get to know the local staff too well, but my brief interactions with them were always very pleasant. (Shoutout to Delia!)  Obviously, I can only speak to my experience, but all of the other guests were lovely.  Jann, Stace, and Drew create a comfortable/safe/nurturing/connected environment, and I think the guests feel that and promote it amongst themselves.
The ayahuasca ceremonies are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  These are also the only days on which people arrive.  Having a ceremony almost immediately upon arrival was a good way to quickly feel connected with the group and break the ice.  The days off in between are vital from reflection and recovery.  During the ceremonies, Stace and/or Drew continually check-in to make sure everything is OK, and they’re always nearby if you need more water or an escort to the toilet or someone to help you get through a tough time mentally or emotionally.  I never struggled in that way myself, but I was impressed with the way they helped the people who did.  Don Raul took care of the spiritual side of things brilliantly, and his icaros were beautiful anchors/lights when things got rough/dark.  The morning after, Stace leads a discussion in which everyone shares their experiences from the night before.  It’s not compulsory, but everyone participates to some degree. (Sharing is good!)
The food…..So fresh, so clean.  Massive portions.  Nobody will go hungry.  If you do the dieta, you’ll learn to truly appreciate oil, salt, and bananas by the end of it. (I mean that in the best way possible.)
 – Learn a little bit of Spanish beforehand.
– One night in Iquitos before and after is probably enough/ideal.
– Pack light — you don’t need sunscreen — maybe natural mosquito repellant, but I’m not sure how effective it was — nobody wore boots while I was there; mostly sandals and bare feet — if you plan to do laundry, bring fast-drying fabrics (not a lot of sun in clothes-hanging spots) — if you’re not bringing books to donate, you probably shouldn’t bring books at all… you’ll be able to find something interesting in the library.
– Bring extra cash so you can tip the staff. (You will want to.)
– Be prepared to do some deep emotional work — If you approach it as therapy, you’ll get more out of it.

This review is long overdue but I wanted to take a month or so to collect my thoughts and integrate my experience a bit. I spent three amazing weeks at Dreamglade for a total of 9 ceremonies. This place is really special. I knew this was the place I wanted to go from the very beginning when communicating by email with Jann. She was so thorough in answering all of my questions and providing all the information I needed. I was so surprised by how quickly she responded to all my emails too!

The staff are just the nicest people you will ever meet and staying there felt like home. My talks with Drew were so incredibly helpful in integrating what I was learning in my ceremonies. At times I really felt uncertain and nervous about what was happening and after speaking with Drew, I always felt like I had a renewed sense of strength to take on the next ceremony. Stace runs this place beautifully, and I was continually impressed every day by the quality of care here. The shamans, Estella and Raul are the real deal. If you want serious healing, there is no other place.

The brew is much more concentrated than most places, and an attendee who also had gone to another retreat said this one is significantly more powerful and visionary. Personally, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. There is something so calm and peaceful about the location, staff, Stace and Drew, and the Shamans that work here. I always felt safe and that they all had my best interest in mind. If you’re nervous about drinking, Stace gives an extremely thorough introduction before your first ceremony that you just couldn’t possibly feel unprepared. The ceremonies were never more than I think 9 people at a time which really is hard to find at most retreats in Peru. All and all, if you are looking for an authentic experience, this is it.

Also, I should mention there were practically zero mosquitos there during the day. It is located right outside of Iquitos so not in the middle of the jungle by the river. Stace also has a CO2 machine that sucks up a lot of the mosquitos too. Really was an added bonus and made my stay much more enjoyable here.

I stayed at Dreamglade for three weeks and it was one of the most inspiring, insightful, and impactful experiences i’ve ever had. I decided to stay for a longer stretch of time because I had a number of things I wanted to work on but many people just stayed for one week and still experienced great things. These included; accepting and making peace with grief, experiencing loss of the ego, understanding what it means to be connected with everything, physically healing injuries etc etc.

The centre is set in a beautiful part of the jungle around a small lake and Stace has almost finished building what will be a perfect space for socialising, practicing yoga or just kicking back with a book. It’s a tranquil haven for anyone wanting to do work on themselves. The facilities are great – you won’t be ‘roughing it’ as Dreamglade has proper showers and toilets, and a great chef feeding you lots of (admittedly plain) but still tasty food. Even on the dieta we never went hungry. You’ll go without dinner on ceremony nights which some people found a bit tough but that didn’t bother me. You don’t really want food in your stomach when you’re drinking ayahuasca…!

I have to say I was bitten a lot by mosquitos while I was there (May 2016) but it is the jungle after all and compared with another trip I did to the jungle, there aren’t anywhere close to the number of mozzies you get elsewhere. In terms of the ceremonies, they were well organised and safe. There’s always a member of staff not drinking the ayahuasca and Stace delivers a lengthy briefing for all newcomers which will answer any questions and alleviate any doubts you may have. Everyone’s safety is a top priority for Stace and it shows. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming – it’s a cliche but it honestly felt like a home away from home for me and I made so many great friends here.

Stace and Drew are incredible people (I think I’m supposed to mention here how good looking they both are too…you can pay me later Stace !!)  They’re down to earth, like to have a laugh and I felt so well looked after. During one ceremony when I was having a bad time, Stace even stayed with me, coaching me through my difficulties, which I am eternally grateful for. It’s not a ‘hands off’ place – if you need help, you just need to ask.

Estella is a powerful curandera: with her partner Ronnie (also a curandero), they kept the ceremonial space safe, calm and supportive. Not once did I feel unsafe in their hands, they work very hard throughout the night. In summary, I cannot recommend this place highly enough – this was my second time back at Dreamglade and I know I’ll be back again soon.

Thank you so much Stace, Drew and Estella!

Anna – Latvia

When Ayahuasca called me, I went to her with an open mind and a hopeful heart, and in return she gave me the time of my life in the jungles of time and space. Going to Peru has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Ayahuasca is not just another spiritual experience or a health retreat. Ayahuasca is the most precious and the most rewarding  gift to anyone who is ready to embrace it. I’d definitely recommend Ayahuasca to anyone who is trying to understand who they are and why they are here, to anyone who is looking for answers. And if you do decide to try Ayahuasca, Dreamglade would certainly be a safe and a genuine place to do it.

No expectations, no disappointment. That’s my personal philosophy. I prefer to be a tabula rasa when I experience something new so that I can be sure what I feel and see is 100% mine and not in any way affected by what I’ve read or heard. I usually do the research afterwards. This is what I did with Ayahuasca too. The only thing I knew was that I’m going to the jungle to drink an Amazonian brew with a group of people who just like me hope to experience something they’ve never experienced before. All I did was check the ‘Come prepared’ page on the Dreamglade website, googling an Ayahuasca diet and watching the movie ‘Blueberry’ on my friend’s recommendation. The ‘Come prepared’ page got me ready for the trip from the practical point of view. The diet prepared my body. I followed it strictly, especially last couple of weeks. Too much was at stake and I didn’t want to take any chances. And finally ‘Blueberry’ prepared me mentally. It gave me a general understanding of what might happen during the ceremonies. That was all my preparation.

Looking back I can say the Dreamglade website provides a sufficient list of things you should consider to bring. I’d really stress few things from this list – notebook (diary), head torch, lighter and natural (DEET free) insect repellent. My diary was a lifesaver. After each ceremony I felt very confused and lost. Writing everything down really helped me to put my thoughts into order and understand what I’ve seen and why. There is no electricity in the jungle so a head torch is a very useful thing especially when you need to get to your tambo after the ceremony in the middle of the night. As for lighters, it’s hard to explain but even if you are not a heavy smoker, very soon you come to realise that lighters are one of the most valuable tools there. If I  ever go to Dreamglade again I’ll bring a big box of lighters for everyone. And finally about mosquitos. I didn’t get any vaccines before going to Peru. All I did was bringing a good natural insect repellent with me. I must say that the guys in Dreamglade do their best to keep the mosquitoes away. I heard the buzzing outside moloca couple of times but I didn’t get bitten once in the jungle. Funnily enough, I got bitten once in Iquitos on the way home, when I stopped using my repellent. And don’t be scared of the jungle. If you treat it with respect it’ll treat you the same in return.

I’ve been thinking for a while how to describe my Ayahuasca experience and I simply don’t see any reasonable way to do it without people thinking I’m absolutely mad. I wrote down everything has happened to me during the ceremonies in my diary but I wouldn’t read it myself again, let alone giving it to someone else. If I ever decide to share it with the world I’ll write a fairy tale or a magic story, as it seems to be the only way anyone can make any sense out of it, including myself. As for  people who are just planning to do Ayahuasca, a description of my experience wouldn’t help you anyway. I’ve read and watched many testimonials since I came back from Peru. Apart from few similar patterns they are all very different. I can assure you, your ceremonies will be very different from mine or anyone else’s. Your experience will be yours and yours only.

All I can say about my Ayahuasca journey is that I saw the past, present and future. She helped me to understand and let go the most traumatic childhood experience that affected all my life. Ayahuasca gave me the answers to nearly all the questions I’ve ever had – about life, love, death, universe and much more. She showed me the real world. She showed me the real me. She took me down the darkest hole and up to the most beautiful places. It was hard. It was easy. It was scary. It was amazing. It was everything you can and cannot imagine.

One of the things I understood during the ceremonies is how important to feel safe and be safe when you drink Ayahuasca. It’s not so much about the type of Ayahuasca you drink or how much of it you drink, it’s all about you and about people who go on that journey with you. When Ayahuasca was taking me to the very edge, when I was lost, scared or confused, the Dreamglade team were always there for me. And I’m very grateful to all of them for that. They do a really great job.

Stace is a fatherly figure in the ceremonies. He is tough and strong. He is the core and the centre. He is that very much needed ground that doesn’t let you fly away for good. Drew, on the other hand, is a motherly (or brotherly:) figure. He provides everyone with love and care. He gives comfort to the frightened ones and gently calms down the disturbed ones. Antonio awakens the deepest energies with his beautiful voice and his vibrant energy. Estella carries a deep knowledge about life and plants, and things that’s hard to describe or explain, but most importantly she heals souls. Each one of them makes Ayahuasca journey very special. Mine was at the same time the most beautiful and the most terrifying experience ever. And I wouldn’t swap it for anything. In fact, it is worth all the trips I’ve ever done in my life.

What has changed since then? Nothing major. The Earth is still turning around the Sun. My life hasn’t turned upside down. It is going as normally as ever – family, work, daily routine. All has changed is the way I look at the world, at people around me, at myself. First time in my life I don’t want to run away, either from others or myself. I’m happy where I am. I feel every moment I live deeply and intensely, and these are not just the words from a positive-thinking book. It’s simply happening and it’s absolutely amazing. I live, I breathe, I create, and that’s all that matters.

My Ayahuasca journey was absolutely breathtaking. It was most certainly the time of my life.Would I do it again? Yes, if Ayahuasca calls me again, I’ll go there without doubt. Ayahuasca gave me a quiet mind and an absolute inner peace. I left Peru with my heart full of gratitude to Ayahuasca for her amazing gifts; to the jungles for sharing all that beauty with me; to Dreamglade for being such a perfect place to recharge my batteries; to the staff for taking good care of us; to my two guardian angels for bringing me there and supporting me all the way through; to the rest of the group for being there for me; to Mo and Ella for guarding us days and nights; to Drew for all his love and gentle care (and his lighter:)); to Stace for being my lifebuoy; to Antonio for his beautiful music and to Estella for healing my soul.

One day I’ll be back.

Sabrina W – Canada

There is absolutely no better place to take ayahuasca than at Dreamglade. The staff here are some of the most compassionate and loving people I have ever met. No one here will ever refuse to hold your hand and guide you in the right direction, even when you feel like you’ve hit your lowest point. I’ll be back, and I hope to see new faces when that time comes… Well, I don’t just hope, I know I will.

Also, the food is great.

Thanks again for everything,

Debora M – Dubai

It isn’t easy putting down in words how remarkable and life changing this experience was. It completely surpassed any preconceptions I had, and this is down to the setting and the people.
From the moment you arrive at Dreamglade to when you leave there is a very calm and comfortable vibe.
The place is absolutely stunning and you feel instantly at peace; you are totally surrounded by nature and it’s an incredibly liberating feeling.
The ceremonies felt very secure and something that I appreciated was that although everything is done in a responsible way, it was not taken too seriously, in the way that you felt comfortable enough to laugh at yourself if needed. The ceremonies were conducted with a lot of love and care.
The days off are not always easy because you have all these new thoughts and feelings to think over and process, but it helps to have such a wonderful place to be at; the maloka was beautiful and it’s great fun to play with the staff’s children in the lake. The meetings with the team are very helpful as you can explain your experience and Stace and Drew give their advice and help you understand it. There are loads of hammocks to chill on where you can either read books from their interesting library selection, or write and go over thoughts from the previous night. The off days were just as enriching but in a totally different way.
Stace is a really cool guy who really believes in what he does and it’s very humbling to be around someone so dedicated to ayahuasca. Stace is very grounded and his vast experience of ayahuasca allows him to provide you with so much useful advice, he really puts you at ease. I also really appreciated his honesty and being upfront about the whole experience – nothing was sugar coated and you knew exactly what to do in any given circumstance.
Drew was another brilliant energy to have; he was great to have in the ceremonies and when he would come over to check up on you I always felt a very peaceful presence and he always seemed to know exactly what to say.
I was so pleased that we had Estella as our Shaman, her and her partner had such a powerful yet reassuring presence, and I had full faith and trust in her during all the ceremonies. I was not initially able to let go at the start of the first ceremony, but her Icaro’s really feel like they enter you and help you to connect and embrace the experience.
You can really tell that the passion and devotion that both Stace and Drew have for Dreamglade is deep and very real, and this adds to the whole experience as you can feel that you are in good hands. They are both such interesting characters and great to talk to outside of ceremonies as well.
Doing ayahuasca is an incredibly intimate experience where you are stripped bare of any walls and are left feeling vulnerable, and yet I never felt uncomfortable or awkward at any point, I had full trust and respect in the staff and the place and it helped to really let go and allow the experience to happen.
I couldn’t be happier in my decision to come to Dreamglade and I recommend it to anyone who is contemplating going.
The only thing I would have changed is being able to stay there for another week!

How can you write a fair review for a experience that feels like 20 years of therapy, turns your beliefs upside-down and is totally beyond words? I won’t be able to, but I will give it a try.

I booked in for 10 days, and finished up a month ago. Was scared as hell for what mother Aya could show me, and decided to take a decision whether to drink or not when I first arrived at the center. For me, feeling comfortable was everything, and still will be everything if I’m ever drinking again.

Not something I would do for fun. The staff was really helpful here. I had a great talk with the owner, Stace, who made me comfortable to drink without ever pushing me. These guys made sure I never felt alone in my process, and even made sure I knew that I could always contact them in the future if I should have any problems (my concern before drinking).

The effects were strong, though never as I expected. Even though everything I was going through was beautiful and spot-on what I needed. Won’t go into details, feels like enough info to write a couple of books. Really liked the talk we had the day after the ceremonia. The staff’s experience with the drink helped a lot to be able to make sense of my experience.

What else? – Estella and Ronnie (the shamans) are superb ! (though have never tried anyone else). They contributed a lot to the safe atmosphere. Great staff ! Chill place !

2 shamans, 2 of the staff on max 9 guests each ceremonia.

Thank you Stace, Drew, Estella & Ronnie for a life changing experience ! I would recommend this place to anyone, in fact this is the first time I take time to write a review.

Keith T – Ireland

Great place!

Stace and Drew do a great job creating a safe environment so that you can work with the medicine. Estella (I hope I’m spelling that right) is an amazing shaman, you can just sense she has total control over the domain.

This sense of safety and professionalism is crucial in order to go deep and get solid work done. During the day you can lounge in a hammock, go for a swim, read, or take a walk. Both Stace and Drew have a lot of experience and you can ask them anything. Highly recommended !

Elizabeth S – Denver, Colorado

I spent five nights at Dreamglade last month, and am already planning my return trip. The setting, aptly named Dreamglade, is the definition of tranquility, with a large maloka and private tambos surrounding a lake. The constant hum of the jungle underlies it all. There is a fairy tale like ambience that leaves you feeling like you’ve stepped into the pages of a jungle storybook.

You can see right away that a lot of heart and soul was poured into the making of Dreamglade, and the owner, Stace, is continuing his vision by the current additions that are in place. To come- a yoga center and music/entertainment space for guests. Another thing I loved about Dreamglade was the intimate, family-like atmosphere, with a small enough number of staff to get to know them, and not too large of a guest group.

I happen to be a huge animal lover and was thrilled to meet the resident cats and dogs. The dogs, Ella and Mo, will happily be your hiking companions. The kids of the staff members interacted with our group a lot, which added to the family atmosphere.

I unexpectedly had the first spiritual experience of my life at Dreamglade, and got so much more than I had dared to hope for when planning the trip. I believe this was due to the comfort I felt immediately with the setting and with Stace, Drew-the Retreat Assistant, and Estella and Ronnie-the curandero and her partner.

Stace and Drew are easy to relate to and both bring valuable gifts to their work. Stace is upfront and down to earth, with a way of setting you at ease by patiently explaining what will likely take place during ceremonies, giving you tools you might need if/when your experience gets really intense. He has a knack for picking out and reflecting on the most relevant aspects of people’s experiences during the group processing the next morning, asking you just the right questions to deepen your own understanding of your visions.

Drew has an incredibly peaceful presence and is an ideal person to have around during an experience as intense and that leaves you as vulnerable as ayahuasca. Both are also fun to talk to outside of the ceremonies, and seem like interesting people who have chosen a road that is not well-traveled by coming to Peru and devoting themselves to the healing of strangers. Both are unmistakably in their element, and their authenticity shines through to Dreamglade’s guests and creates the safety needed to go deeper and deeper during each ceremony. It is clear that they both genuinely care about the comfort and happiness of their guests. I appreciated their hands-off approaches towards the guests by not having structured activities during the days and enjoyed the down time between ceremonies to reflect and get insight on the visions and feelings brought up during the nights.

Estella’s powerful and sometimes melancholy voice still haunts me at times. Her partner, Ronnie, sang during our ceremonies and I appreciated the contrast of having both of them. Estella radiates quiet strength and I am still in awe at the magnitude of what she does during each ceremony. I feel so lucky to have found Dreamglade and can’t imagine ever going anywhere else to do ayahusaca ceremonies.

Steve H – London, U.K.

My happy place.

I spent 5 amazing nights here in the summer. Never have I walked into a place and felt so safe and at peace.

I wasn’t actually planning to stay at Dreamglade when I was organising the trip but circumstances (as they do) led me here as a last minute necessity. What I found gave me one of the defining moments of my life and set in motion a period of self discovery that has shone a light on everything that I needed to move forward and I am eternally grateful, hence I’m writing this !

Everything about this place was perfect for me and while I have been to other ceremonies, if it is ever time for me to go back to mother ayahuasca, I will come back home to Dreamglade. x

Linda W – England

I stayed at Dreamglade for 8 nights from 12 – 21st January.

My last ceremony was a tough one..all the staff at Dreamglade were very kind to me and Drew, one of the facilitators was with me and talked me through the experience and helped sooo much.

I was very ill on my last day possibly through swallowing some river water by accident and all at Dreamglade were so helpful and attentive. I was in good hands all the way.

Well done to all of you.

I am very glad I chose this retreat. Estella also helped a lot with her knowledge of plant medicine..she is very powerful at what she does.

Justin B – Michigan, U.S.A.

Well this was my first trip to Peru and I’ll start off by saying the Amazon jungle is truly a piece of art.

Upon arrival to Iquitos my flight was delayed and it caused me to be like ten hours late to Dreamglade. Sadly I missed the first ceremony but I was able to get a hold of Jann and she went out of her way to pick me up from the airport when I arrived. This was the first sign that the Dreamglade team truly cared for there guests. Even though she had to pick me up at a time that was inconvenient for her she was still in good spirits.I spent the night at a hotel in Iquitos and the following morning I meet with her and she took me to personally to the center, she was such a blessing.

When I arrived I had a warm greeting from everyone there and I was truly impressed by the beauty of the rain forest. As far as the food goes I was quite shocked by how delicious the meals were.

Dreamglade was a dream come true in my life, everyone was so caring and would go out of there way to help in anyway they could. I won’t even consider going to a different healing center because Dreamglade exceeded all of my expectations.

I left at the end of the week feeling like a new person, the ceremonies healed me on many levels. I now truly enjoy life and have a new perspective on many things in my life. I highly recommend this place to any one interested in ayahuasca.

David M – Canada

I’ll start off by saying the place is beautiful. The facilities are all very nice and well-maintained. The bathrooms and showers are great. My tambo was comfortable and had everything I needed. The maloca is beautiful. The lake is really nice and warm.

There are surprisingly few mosquitoes for being in the jungle. The dogs are some of the friendliest I’ve ever met! Ella even stood guard outside my tambo one night when no one else was sleeping out there.

Stace and Drew are amazing. I’m sure there are some other great ayahuasca centres, but I’m having trouble imagining anyone running a better ayahuasca ceremony than these guys. They’re constantly checking up on everyone, making sure everything’s running smoothly, and they are great at offering advice or guidance in any situation.

Stace has a ton of experience and plenty of wise bits of advice to give to newcomers. And Drew is always available to chat with throughout the day and his positive attitude is remarkable. I definitely felt like I was in good hands.

Estella is incredible. For such a petite, quiet person, she exudes so much power. During the ceremony her singing was one of the most haunting and beautiful things I’ve ever heard. It’s really worth the price of admission alone to see her in concert.

I’m curious what some other centres are like, but I don’t think I could go to Peru again and not go to Dreamglade. It’s such a cool place and Stace, Drew, and Estella are really special.

Isabella H – Perth, Australia

I’m a 20 year old woman that visited Dreamglade on my own for 11 nights/5 ceremonies at the end of 2015. The experience was amazing, and I met so many great people.

Ayahuasca is hard work, and the intensity of it made me especially glad that I was somewhere like Dreamglade. Everyone at the retreat was sincere in doing their own personal work, but there wasn’t an overly serious or strict atmosphere.

The grounds are beautiful, especially sitting by the lake and watching the stars after ceremony. The food is also much better than I’d expected. Dreamglade’s owner Stacy isn’t at the centre all of the time, but he’s there for every ceremony and the following day for group sharing sessions. You can tell that he’s sacrificed a huge amount to help people at Dreamglade, and he’s really down to earth. I can’t think of anyone better to help people through a difficult Ayahuasca experience.

Drew, a facilitator who is at Dreamglade full time, is a massive asset to the centre. He’s always there for emotional support and he has a heart of gold. I could make a long list of times where he went out of his way to help me or others at the retreat.

Estella the Curandera is the real deal, a Shipibo woman with decades of experience. Her icaros are amazing, and she provides each person with a personal healing towards the end of each ceremony.

The retreat seemed to focus on getting you to have a direct experience with the medicine and to find your own answers, rather than being lectured at or having detailed explanations/advice given to you by Estella or Stace.

Although I don’t have anything to compare it to, we were told that the brew was particularly strong, using 20+ year old vines, 2 types of DMT containing leaves and brewed for 15 hours. Of the two groups that I saw leave the retreat, I can’t recall anyone who didn’t have a powerful experience. Several people who only stayed for 3 ceremonies seemed to wish they had more time at Dreamglade. During the ceremony you’re always supervised and afterwards most people slept in the maloca, including Drew and Stace. I ended up really appreciating this, especially after an intense night or if I was still feeling the effects of the brew after the formal ceremony ended.

Outside of ceremony, most of the time was free to spend relaxing and reflecting. If you’re the sort of person who wants a lot of organised activities/walks or lessons about Ayahuasca/shamanism, it might not be the best place for you. They are just finishing a new building though where they’ll have yoga and other activities. At the end of the retreat there wasn’t a formal integration program offered, instead Stace and Drew make themselves available over the internet and are able to provide any help that’s needed.

Mosquitos didn’t seem to be a huge problem compared to other parts of the jungle. I’m not aware of anyone at the retreat that took malaria tablets or any cases of people getting sick. I did get about 20 bites while I was there, so I’d encourage anyone going to bring good repellent and long clothes. If you’re doing a plant dieta you won’t be able to take malaria tablets.

The ratio of facilitators/healers to guests is good. It’s a small center, so they don’t have huge numbers of staff or security like the bigger places might have. On some nights everyone in the maloca was drinking Ayahuasca, which I imagine some people wouldn’t like. I ended up appreciating that element of the ceremonies though, as it created a nice atmosphere in the room where everyone was in a similar headspace.

Dreamglade is a quality centre and the people there genuinely care about helping. We were told that the staff are paid very fairly, and I never got the impression that the people there were in it for the money. If you’re thinking of heading to a retreat in Peru, I’d encourage you to email Dreamglade and see if they’re right for you.

I spent five days in this wonderful retreat in the jungle just outside of Iquitos. The place is just so relaxing and beautiful that you instantly switch off from the outside world.

Stace and Drew who are working there are really helpful and provide you with everything you need to get a great experience.

I have been to another center 2 years ago but didn’t get any profound experience there but this time it really switched for me. I would definitely recommend this place and would also love to come back some time in the future.

Hampus T – Sweden

We all loved Dreamglade !!
The simplicity and the focus on just working with yourself through relaxation and contemplation is really the way to go. It is a perfect setting for this kind of work on your self. The staff themselves were superb including both Stace and Drew. We have the utmost respect for the both of them, both as human beings in general and for what they are doing for people at the retreat. The ceremonies were very good with great shamans (both Estella and Ronnie). Felt extremely safe the entire time.
All in all I would recommend this place any day of the week. Extremely price worthy and simply an unforgettable experience that is like no other. I’m definitely doing ayahuasca again and I can’t think of another place I would want to do it.
I’ll keep on analysing myself and work with the more negative elements of my personality such as my temper and lack of patience. I can feel already that I’m much more aware and focused on these aspects since the retreat which helps in making changes.

I’m coming home to a lot of tests with a father who is dying of cancer and really testing my patience as well as brother who is very hard too deal with. I feel ready for these challenges!

Steve Westhoek – Amsterdam, Holland

After thorough research and long consideration I chose to experience my first Ayahuasca session at Dreamglade. It was a choice well made.

Accepting I don’t have any experience with other centers I do believe Dreamglade is one of the better retreat centers. I had 5 mind-blowing experiences but as strong as it was I did realise how vulnerable I was under the influence of Ayahuasca. For this reason,
trust in the crew is key and I haven’t once felt that I was alone in my journeys. They take really good care of you before, during and after the ceremonies and have a down to earth, professional and no-nonsense attitude. All the characteristics you need to make a great and safe Ayahuasca journey in my opinion.

The brew they use is very strong and cooked with care and with apparently the right ingredients. As an experienced psychedelics ‘psychonaut’ I chose to take relatively high doses so my trips were overwhelmingly (in a good way) strong, with superior and unprecedented visuals. I did a lot of work on myself and one month after I can say it still benefits me every day and hopefully for a long time to come.

The meals are plentiful and delicious. The center itself and the environment is truly inspirational and of course the price/value ratio is exceptional. I have experienced a lot of value for my money.

Also special props to the shaman, she is amazing! I find her very peaceful, knowledgeable and professional. She has many plant spirit allies, a lot of experience and sings great Icaros with the most soothing voice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Dreamglade and met some great people there with whom I could really connect. I will definitely visit Dreamglade again and I will surely recommend this place to my family, all my friends and any other stranger.

Max L – Italy

From the very first moment I contacted Dreamglade I immediately knew that I had made the right choice for my first true Ayahuasca retreat !

Both Stace and Jann were extremely helpful, promptly replying to all my messages, very thorough with all the retreat information and also making some very good recommendations for my travel arrangements. Booking my retreat with them was extremely easy and quick and I felt very confident.

This feeling was soon confirmed the day I met Stacy on my arrival in Iquitos and everyone else with whom I was going to share this 5 day retreat. A small group of 9 persons including myself, just the perfect number for a retreat and everyone was very nice and friendly.

The Dreamglade centre is located in a stunning spot just a short and comfortable drive from Iquitos and right in the heart of the very beautiful Amazon rainforest. The ceremonial temple, the ‘Maloka’, and all the accommodation wooden huts, ‘Tambos’, have all been recently built and to a very high standard and the centre is surrounded by a beautiful lake very nicely equipped with swimming platforms and close by there is a very friendly local village. Further large huts were in the process of being built nearby which will offer even more facilities to the centre.

On our arrival at the Dreamglade centre we met Drew, the retreat assistant and all the Dreamglade staff and everyone straight away made us feel incredibly welcome.

After settling in my own hut I went to the ceremonial temple in preparation for our first ceremony.

Stacy introduced us to Estella, our Curandera, who welcomed us all and then Stace carefully spent an hour giving us some very valuable and essential information on how to approach our first Ayahuasca ceremony and this for me was probably the most beneficial and influential part of my entire Ayahuasca experience.

Before leaving for Peru, I had read the Out of The Jungle – Beginners Guide to Ayahuasca book written by Nanice Ellis and watched various Ayahuasca videos and but I still had many gaps of knowledge which Stacy managed to fill straight away and this made me feel very comfortable and relaxed before taking the brew.

This was probably the main contribution for me to undertake 3 perfect Ayahuasca ceremonies together with an excellent “dieta” prepared by the very good kitchen staff I felt completely at ease and enjoyed the best experience of my life !

Everything was just perfect for me at the Dreamglade centre. Estella is one of the best Curanderos in Peru, the Ayahuasca brew which Dreamglade offers is also one the purest and strongest in Peru, “the dieta” made me feel very healthy and strong and Stacy and Drew are not just fantastic organisers and experienced Ayahuasca coordinators but also two true spiritual friends who I hope to meet again in the very near future.

I have therefore no hesitation to recommend Dreamglade to anyone who is either looking to try Ayahuasca for the first time or who is looking for a true and very profound Ayahuasca experience in one of the best Amazonian surroundings !

Such an amazing place and experience!

Dreamglade holds a special place in my heart. Everything was wonderful and perfect. From the facilities to the people to the experience was more then I could have ever imagined.

First the staff…. Stacy, Estella, Drew and all the others were so kind and informative. The amazing conversations and guidance and aura was superb. These are very knowledgeable people who are doing more good important work then they even know. Its a light, caring, safe atmosphere that is really great for getting serious personal work done.

As for the ayahuasca… whoa what an amazing plant medicine. The brew at dreamglade is very strong, as Stacy says ayahuasca is not subtle. Estella is a very great powerful shaman. Her icaros are so amazingly beautiful and powerful. They were in my head all day after the ceremonies. Just hearing them brings a tear to my eye and reminds me of home. I have so much gratitude to be able to have learned and drunk with her.

Stacy and Drew are such great people always willing to help or talk about our experiences. So much love strength fun and learning pour out from them.

The retreat was very clean and well built. Great shower pressure and a beautiful lake and surrounding area. I felt so relaxed and at home! I had everything I needed. The food was wonderful. Prepared in such a beautiful and nutritious way. I wish I could eat like that forever!

I have grown and experienced so much from my trip to dreamglade and I know I will be coming back when the time is right! I love everyone and everything about dreamglade and can not recommend it more highly.

So much thanks and gratitude -Matt Hollander

The most inspirational and transformational ayahuasca hands down!!!

Estella is literally magical. Her unfathomable abilities are amazing. The Maloka becomes a spiritual hospital, plant spirits in front of you doing amazing work. Estella’s icaros coupled with the ceremony and strong medicine, bridge the spiritual realm with our reality, all unfolding before you as you witness Real Reality.

I trekked to the jungle with a lot of so-called ‘baggage’. I left lighter than I have been in twenty years. In fact, ayahuasca at dreamglade has given me more than anything else could in the same amount of time.

Stace, Estella, and Drew have a special key. Go unlock your box !

Choose to come to dreamglade if you want the strongest brew around, looking for a tranquil setting, want to meet lifelong friends from all corners of the globe, and want to be in the hands of compassionate healers. Real work getting done here. Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks to my new family,

Gray G – U.S.A.

I will be forever grateful for the time I spent at Dreamglade. Stace and Drew are two of the most loving teachers I have ever met, and I consider them friends. I could go on for days about the visions I witnessed, but what i’d rather do instead is say how I have been able to incorporate the lessons I learned from ayahausca and the facilitators at Dreamglade. Aya taught me that I can do anything so long as I incrementally stack the odds in life in my favor. Yes, i’ve struggled since coming back to american society, but what i’ve noticed is that since the slate has been cleaned everything is now on a system of trial and error. Hardships occur, but my intuition doesn’t reside in a frozen prison anymore. I hear what it has to say and mostly listen to it. Sometimes the ego gets a win or two, but I now know and feel my higher self beckoning me at every turn.

Drew uses a simple yet wonderful analogy of shining your light as you would a flashlight on a dark corner that has yet to reveal it’s contents and how life has so many uncertainties, but so long as we’re rooted in ourselves, we too can enact our beings as a flashlight of sorts so that we can intuitively traverse obstacles and note the splendors the universe provides to us.

Stace lends himself in a way that promotes independence. I was always intrigued by his demeanor, because he isn’t incredibly transparent. I quickly learned to listen to what he had to say, because ultimately he would throw the ball back into my court, but do it in such a way that I was able to critically think about what I was wrestling with and how I could meditate on it from within rather than outsourcing for answers or affirmation. Needless to say, our conversations were some of the best and have helped me to realize I am my own rock.

Estella.. oh Estella. A mighty and powerful woman. A bit stoic at times, and then you’d catch a half smile occasionally and maybe a full on laugh on occasion if you were lucky 🙂 Her icaros are beautiful. She steers the course of the session and infuses so much love and positivity into the process. Shit does get real in that maloka sometimes. Know this. Estella will chew the bad up, spit it into oblivion, puff a mapacho, and do it all over again. She is a loving, kind, resilient curandero who will go to battle for you.

I have a lot of work to do, but what’s different now is I have a love for the process that will take me where I need to go.

Namaste, my friends, my family.

Dean H – U.K.

My experience at Dreamglade was everything I’d hoped for and a little bit more!

The location is beautiful, the staff are nothing short of inspirational and the ceremonies were the most eye opening experiences of my life. Stace, Drew and Estella are the core team and having had the chance to speak with all 3 on a personal level can honestly say I believe they are as nice as people can get. While I tried not to be a pain I’m a very fussy eater, the team noticed this and went out of their way to cook around my preferences and made sure I stayed fed.

The ceremonies were probably the most eye opening experiences of my life, I saw myself objectively for the first time and could appreciate the good things about myself but could no longer deny the things I’d been lying to myself about. I felt absolute peace and love that was beyond anything I’ve experienced before or since. I had prepared questions for my experiences and while I didn’t always get the answers I was looking for I definitely got a lot of information that I needed.

The other people staying during my visit (including Stace’s mum Patsi) were some of the nicest, most humble and honest people I’ve ever met and helped to make my stay at Dreamglade an experience that will stay with me forever.

My expectations of Ayahuasca were somewhat different than my actual experiences, I had naively expected some grand epiphany and instant enlightenment. That didn’t happen but the reality is almost as impressive, I had opened up emotionally in ways that I just could not before, several problems that had weighed on me for years became clear and solvable and I felt reinvigorated to work at life. I think I prefer that to instant epiphany – it gives me a reason to go back to Dreamglade 😉

How can I talk about Dreamglade without tears of joy and gratitude coming to my eyes? Without any doubt, the most powerful, intense and atonishing journey of my life was guided by Estella, Stacy and Drew. Those three people…are just phenomenal. Stacy, the one that makes it all happen and does it so well. Estella, her eyes, her strength, her power to heal and her care to us. It was really empowering to have such a great example of woman and shaman. Drew, your energy and kindness, your words always there to help and comfort. You made our days even better for sure. Thanks for everything.
We found the best place to do our first Ayahuasca ceremonies and felt so comfortable and safe.

The dogs Ella and Mo are just incredible, so warm, so full of energy and so so so cute. The cats Reggie and Hydro as well, such a great fun and loving. Just be careful with Reggie’s claws….awn.And don’t ever underestimate Hydro when she sits on your lap and…steals your egg or fruit. Trust me, it happens a lot. The guardians are lovely and always there to help.

The friends I’ve made there are so special and inspiring, each of them on their own way, their own little – wonderful – pieces. Andre, Lisa, Crystal, Eva, Robbie, AJ, Matt, Jeff…thanks for the fantastic time, enjoyed every single moment around you, love you guys! The place has an amazing energy and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place that really takes care of everything. I will remember my time there forever and looking forward to coming back – as soon as possible.

Thanks everyone for making it memorable. Wish always the best for all of you. With love

Lisa – Pheonix, U.S.A.

Although I have not attended other retreats I can’t imagine any measuring up to Dreamglade!

I chose this retreat for two reasons: the outstanding reviews on Ayaadvisor and the cost. I was not disappointed on either account and I had an amazing experience. I absolutely loved the people I met – they have become like family.

There is not enough space here to explain how much Drew and Stacy and Estella care about their guests. Their insight, advice, care and affection for the health and wellness of each guest is remarkable.

Even though my Ayahuasca experience was physically and emotionally difficult Drew was there step by step and Stacy has an uncanny ability to make clear the struggle within.

Estella has a gentle and comforting demeanor and is a powerful force for healing; during ceremonies you can feel her working through the night on each guest. Stacy even brought in an additional shaman when he felt it was in the best interest of our group.

My review is not one of inter-dimensional travel or meetings with spirits, although others in my group had those experiences. No, mine was a deep self reflecting and healing of really old emotional wounds – wounds that run generational.

Thank you Stacy and Drew and Estella and Don Fransisco for everything.

Matthew – London, U.K.

I first went to Dreamglade in February 2015 and had such an amazing time.

Stace and Drew are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and do an absolutely fantastic job. The centre is absolutely stunning and the cleaning staff keep it spotless.

The resident curandera Estella is very skilled (and also really nice).

I went in pretty nervous and not quite knowing what to expect, but felt much more comfortable after Stace gave the 1st timers a pre-ceremony talk to let us know what to expect and how best to work with the Ayahuasca.

The ayahuasca itself is very strong and I had some absolutely beautiful visions whilst there. As Stace once said to me – “People come for the visions but stay for the healing.” I found this to be very true in my case, and left the retreat feeling better than I had in years.

If you’re an animal lover – there are two cats and two dogs who are such lovely animals and great to be around – just watch that Hydro doesn’t steal your eggs!

During ceremony a few people had difficult experiences and both Stace and Drew were amazing in talking them through the experience and getting them to let go and work through whatever is coming up – it’s truly amazing watching them work.

It’s really handy that Stace will pick you up from the airport and then drop you back off – saves dealing with the local taxi drivers (not that I had a bad experience with them though).

I can’t recommend this place highly enough – if you’re still unsure just book it and you won’t be disappointed. I liked it so much that I went back 4 months later in June (much sooner than I was expecting).

On both of my trips the people I met during my stay were just amazing. It truly is a group experience and it’s great having people there alongside you.

Just go!

Robby – Belgium

I stayed three weeks at this wonderful place and it was the most amazing time of my life!
The owner, Stacy and assistant, Drew are very caring and helpful. They really are some of the loveliest people I’ve ever met! Also Estella, their curandera, is the best shaman I’ve worked with. She really knows how to heal people, and she really does compared to a lot of other shamans who just put up a show.
The Ayahuasca they serve is by far the strongest and most visual I’ve had.
The other guest I’ve met there were also very lovely and it was very nice to share each other’s experiences in the morning after ceremonies.
The location is beautiful and quiet with lovely authentic buildings. They also have two dogs and two cats, they are very cute and love to get petted.
I left there happier then ever. I miss that place and the people already, but I will be back for sure!
Thank you so much Stacy, Drew, Estella and the staff!
Lots of love, Robby

Diana – Canada

I am deeply and passionately grateful for my experience at Dreamglade.

Dreamglade offers beautiful lodging, a safe environment, and powerful ayahuasca- all for a fraction of the price of other healing centres. It provides a setting that facilitates profound spiritual growth, intense healing, and deep connection with others.

The love and compassion provided by Stace, Drew, and Estellla is overwhelming. These beautiful human beings are genuinely concerned with the well-being of others, and it has been a blessing to be under their care.

Language does not have the capacity to describe the illumination that ayahuasca can provide, and Dreamglade offers an experience that respects and honours her spirit.

Thank you to the staff and visitors of Dreamglade from the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul.

Thank you one thousand times over.

Chad – Los Angeles, U.S.A.

I first went to Peru in 2012 seeking the experience that I eventually got from Dreamglade. The medicine used at Dreamglade isn’t typical “gringo” medicine used at some other centers; it is authentic, realistic ayahuasca. To be honest, it’s not for the faint of heart, but if you’re reading these reviews I’m sure you’ve realized traveling thousands of miles to the Amazon Rain forest to drink magic jungle juice with shamans and strangers isn’t for the non-adventurous.

That said: I don’t think ever in my life have I been shown the love, compassion, and support for MY journey like I experienced at Dreamglade. Stacy, Drew and Estella (hi, guys 🙂 ) sincerely care about the journey that YOU are on. They are with you every step of the way to discuss what you are going through and help guide you through the inner dialog/ shamanic visions that you WILL be having after these ceremonies/ experiences. I can’t express enough how much they care about you, seemingly a stranger. Money does not play a part into the equation… once you see the grounds you’ll ask yourself, as I did, “How the hell do they pull this off for what I’m paying?”. The answer is simple: They aren’t worried about monetary gain. The mission of Stacy, Drew and Estella is to offer you support, understanding and compassion through the healing process. And, believe me, that’s what this is about.

I mentioned the medicine is legit. With the help of the medicine and the people mentioned I discovered so much about, not only myself, but my place in this universe. My “purpose” I guess you can say. You may be reading this thinking how “hokey” it sounds… I thought the same at one time.

But, I have never been more connected with my feelings nor have I had this understanding of what feelings actually are… they are just feelings! And it’s okay to feel them! You don’t have to identify with them and have them be the cause/ reason/ dictation for your actions. I have a firm understanding of what my Ego is and how it can be detrimental to the simple peaceful act of “being”.

Dreamglade has helped me understand our connectedness with everything in the universe. As Carl Sagan has put so much more eloquently than this: We are all stardust. I have this core belief, which had never existed in me, that we are really all connected to this universe, to the things in it, and to each other. Everything is made of the same molecules and atoms. Every living thing runs on DNA and RNA. In essence God is not “out there”, but dwells within each of us.

This place has helped me realize that I am not my anger, bitterness, resentment… “We aren’t our

goddamn bank accounts” (Chuck Palahniuk anyone?)… There is more to life than what the matrix would have us believe.

All of that said… expect to do work. While at the center and coming back to our pre-described “reality”. It isn’t going to just happen. You have to want to heal. Coming back to the “real world” you have to take the tools and skills that Ayahuasca has shown you, that the boys at Dreamglade have helped you process and see the usefulness, then apply those skills to your situations in real life. It doesn’t happen over night. And I’m not going to lie to you and say it’s easy. The path to spirituality and simply being a “good person” in every situation is hard… and that may not be what you’re seeking. I wasn’t, but it’s a gift I was shown and I’m not going to let slip away.

So, if you want an authentic shamanic experience, to learn things about yourself that you’ve never thought possible or that may be hidden by the muck of daily routine and monotony, if you want to be surrounded by people who care about YOU and what YOU’RE going through go to Dreamglade. The grounds are beautiful as are the people running the place and it’s much more affordable than most other retreats out there. Affordable does not equate to lack of services of compassion… the guys there just don’t give a shit about making a buck… Dreamglade isn’t about that. I’m glad I found this place and these people and I will be back sooner than later.

Hoang V – California, U.S.A.

Dreamglade is an unforgettable experience of my life. Authentic staff members provided the most amazing atmosphere. A remote part of the jungle in Peru, with a natural sensuality. Estella is a skillful, and amazing female Shipibo curandera at Dreamglade. I left with a true appreciation of spirituality, but most importantly a stronger self sincerity. I would definitely recommend anyone to check out Dreamglade for their Ayahuasca retreat.

Tamika – NSW, Australia

Oh Dreamglade, its hard to find words for the week I spent there. What a beautiful experience it was. I was a little nervous as I knew I had lots of demons to face and had heard some terrifying stories prior to going. This all dissipated as soon as I got to the retreat. It just has a beautiful, relaxed feel about it. There are lots of trees and butterflies and a gorgeous lake to swim in.

Stacy and drew are so wonderful, they are helpful and caring throughout the ceremonies and always at hand if your struggling. Estella the shaman is magical, wow, she is a very very powerful woman who aided major healing in me over the 5 days. I would love to do more ayahuasca one day and this is the place I’ll be doing it at. So grateful and glad we picked this retreat! x

Brice D – Ontario, Canada

This place is amazing, nothing short of it. It was so nice to arrive to the peace that place so completely embodies after the hussle and bussle of the city. I went in early May for 3 weeks (8 ceremonies) and I can, and will honestly say, it was one of the best experiences of my life, possibly THE best thus far in my life. I feel revitalized and refreshed, it’s amazing and it was also rediscovering long lost parts of myself. I have gained so much from going, it’s given me something very deep and strong, something good, for the better. I usually say my thanks to mother ayahuasca, Estella, Stace and Drew nearly everyday. ‘It’, you guys, have helped me tremendously. Thank you so so much !!

Which brings me to say, Stace is an amazing guy and has put together a very authentic place. Drew is amazing too, so glad to have made friends with him. Estella is awesome too, with all her abilities and with her heart to want to help others – in fact all of them for having the heart to want to help others. My words and descriptions seriously do not do it justice, the love and light these people are helping others discover in themselves. Thank you so much, all of you. As for the ayahuasca, it’s strong by the way if your wondering.

I met so many great people and new friends at the centre whom I am looking forward to keeping in touch with throughout my life as well.

If your looking for an authentic healing experience or centre, with a powerful curandera who is experienced and people who completely embody the empathy needed for healing to occur, THIS IS IT, look no further lol !!

I’m glad I chose Dreamglade because of many reasons, I wanted an authentic healing centre, with strong ayahuasca, with legit, authentic and heartfelt “staff” and an experienced shamana/curandera. This centre has all of these. Like i said, this place is it. I seriously cannot think of one thing they could improve upon or do better here. Oh and for food portions, good size.

I really cannot wait to go back at some point and will be. Like i said, ayahuasca has given me something deep and strong and helped me in ways that I’m not even sure how or what even, but I do feel different in a subtle way, in a good way, a very good way ? Perhaps most accurately it has given me an enduring inner strength and power, something of that nature, like a new default set point or something. I feel more fully myself, authentically.

It has sowed the seeds of strength and possibilities for growth in me going forward that I am so grateful for. I’m looking forward to keeping on exploring life and making my journey back to Dreamglade at some point, maybe numerous times on my path of life, growth and discovery.

Thank you one last time Stace, Drew, Estella and mother ayahuasca, from the very bottom of my heart and from my whole being.

Paige S – New York State, U.S.A.

Any gratitude I could possibly show over a review would be insignificant to say the least. Dreamglade is exactly that, a dream. Stace started this utopia from a thought, a dream and in the sense that the community and experiences you have at dreamglade allow you to go forward in life to live your dreams. After all life is but a dream.

It is clear to me that Estella’s Icaros took me to the edge of death and brought me back to life. Estella is a massively powerful Cueandera, her ability to heal changed my life and I will thank her everyday. Drew is an absolute saint, my brother, my savior, my friend. I have an understanding that his purpose in life is to be a strong guiding light for those trying to find their way. Drew and Stace have a deep understanding of their work in healing people. I can honestly say two of the most inspiring, honest men I will ever meet. My appreciation for them expands space and time and I can not wait to see how many minds they expand and lives they change. Stace is an innovator, his passion to expand the consciences of the world through plant medicines is invigorating.

From the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul, thank you!

P.S. The food is delicious as well!

Dave MC – Canada

It’s been almost 2 months since my stay at Dreamglade, and I’m still reflecting on my time there everyday. I’ve procrastinated writing a review because it’s difficult to articulate what it’s done for me, and what it continues to do for me.

Chelsea S – U.S.A.

Ahhh, Dreamglade, you will FOREVER be in my heart. All of you. I have been home from my retreat there for about six weeks now, but I still feel like I am receiving light from you, from within, from the spirit world, from everywhere. I am connected to the source in a way that I was not before. I feel like everything is going to be ok, I can breathe easier, and I have released so much gunk and pain and trauma that I am able to be who I am supposed to be more freely, although I am still working everyday to maintain this feeling. As you told us, the real work begins when you get home, and that is so true.

You are a beacon of light helping to heal the world one person at a time, and it is comforting to know that you are down there doing the work that you do. It is incredible how well you take care of your guests, how open your hearts are and how you are able to give so much day in and day out. INCREDIBLE! My husband and I were first timers and we could not have found a better place to begin this journey with Ayahuasca. I will never look elsewhere and I truly plan on coming back some day and bringing some friends and family who I know would benefit as well. Every single person at Dreamglade is a beautiful and loving soul from the groundskeepers, the cook (the food is delicious, healthy, and made with love!) and of course Drew, Stace and Estella. Estella blew my mind. Her power, knowledge and experience with plants, her icaros, her energy, she is the real deal and she helped me so much. Stace and Drew take such good care of people during the ceremonies and you never feel alone, or scared, or like you need help. They are there, always. Stace talks to first timers before their first ceremony and tells you every single thing you could want to know and puts your mind at ease, and I was pretty nervous at first. Drew is always there to talk to, to inspire you with an interesting talk or video, to laugh with, he is just an awesome human being.

The facilities and the beautiful setting, the clean lake for swimming, it is all so relaxing and beautiful and well done. This place is a little slice of heaven on earth. I can’t wait to see how you grow and progress with your new projects and how the space evolves over the years. Although taking Ayahuasca is not easy, it is real hard work that can sometimes be very uncomfortable and very intense, it is one of the best things I have ever done in my life. Truly my most incredible experience. Anyone who is wondering where to do this work should look no further than Dreamglade. Thank you so much for what you do!

Tony H – U.S.A.

This is the real deal. I had an absolutely amazing experience over eight days. I experienced so much personal growth. Everything about this retreat was pure and authentic. The atmosphere is so calm and serene. Stace is an amazing individual who does everything he can to make you feel comfortable and assist in your inner journey. Drew, his right hand man was so kind, loving and giving. They were there for us spiritually, mentally and emotionally at all times. The ceremonies were so so great, I felt attended to and safe at all times. Estella, the curandera is very special and provided a great, safe and healing energy. Its beautiful there. I will be going back, it was difficult to leave. So so much love there. Thanks Stace and Drew for everything you did for me.

Christine C – U.S.A.

So I just got home from an 8 night visit to Dreamglade.
I did have a giggle over “* Free, comfortable 4×4 transportation to and from the healing center” as we bounced about in the truck over the bumpy roads HAH!
Filtered drinking water is provided. The facilities are clean! To me that was of utmost importance! They provide showers with filtered water, sinks for brushing teeth and washing hands, and flushing toilets with doors.
The maloca (where I stayed) was kept clean and the roof did not leak even once during some pretty intense storms! The bedding was simple but met the needs. I was never uncomfortable.
True there’s no electricity and no phone signal but it just made it into a fun camping experience for me.
Drew and Stace run a pretty tight ship with that! I felt safe during my entire visit. Never once did I worry about personal safety for myself or my things.
I did not choose the tambo or the dieta but my experience was still very positive.
The ceremonies were just beautiful. Estella’s singing still haunts me in my sleep! Once more, I never felt unsafe. Stace and Drew made the rounds and checked up on everyone to ensure no issues. They were on hand to immediately clean up any mess that occurred so we didn’t wake up the next morning to vomit on the floor. The love and attention they provided was uplifting and comforting. They talk TO you and not AT you…there IS a difference!
The aya brew was magical. It was certainly strong enough for me! I won’t relay my experiences as this is about Dreamglade. Let’s just say my expectations were more than met.
The energies in this place made it into something magical and it seemed it attracts magical beings as well as all the people I met there were just lovely.
Overall, I had a brilliant, fabulous experience and would recommend it to anyone!

Scott DL – New Jersey, U.S.A.

Stacy, Drew, and Estella were all really great and the entire staff cooking and cleaning for us were awesome. I would recommend this trip to anyone who is having some big life changing decisions coming up, anyone who needs healing, or just anyone who wants to experience the magic that is Ayahuasca. You will make lifelong friends and will be able to relax like you never have before. If you are considering a 5 star resort I would not consider any Ayahuasca tour, but if you are looking to do some soul searching and deep spiritual cleansing then I would recommend DreamGlade. I can’t imagine having a better more authentic experience.

Juliana K – Finland

Dreamglade is the place to be if you are looking to work with Ayahuasca. The location is absolutely beautiful, the maloka is very clean, the food is AWESOME and the people working there have the biggest hearts. Estella, Stacy and Drew have created an atmosphere where you will feel 100% safe drinking Ayahuasca. They have knowledge and experience and are able to help you through difficult moments.I left Dreamglade a month ago and I still can’t put into words the experience and the gratitude I have towards Ayahuasca and all the people I met there.
Ayahuasca brought me closer to nature and myself as well as restored spirituality within me. If you are looking to work with Aya, I would recommend this retreat with all my heart!

Moses – Isreal

It’s been two weeks since my retreat and all I can think of is the amazing experience I have been through and about re-finding the spiritually that I thought I lost.

Thank you so much, Stace, Drew and Estella.

This place is so family-like, you feel immediately at home the second you get there.
Really “tranquilo” and magical.

I think they have found the right balance of helping you through the intense ceremony and letting you deal with that by yourself.

For my opinion, one of the best places to start a good journey inside you.

Jason G – Texas, U.S.A.

I love this crew with all my heart – after 2 plus weeks my mind has topped racing, my negative internal dialogue has basically stopped, my love to meet others has been renewed, i walk slower but with more confidence, and i generally feel their is nothing i can’t do in this world because love is in my heart… i thank dreamglade and my new family that i met during my stay for a remarkable journey. they are in my heart forever!

Luciana L – Italy

My stay at the “DreamGlade World” has been amazing.
The center is simply great, elegant and essential, extremely clean and well organized, a beautiful oasis of peace. Gorgeous!
With regards to my own experience with ayahuasca and the ceremonies and the forest, the words coming to my mind are unique, refreshing, fulfilling, regenerating. After more than 2 weeks, I can still feel clearly the positive effects of it. It is joy, a very deep connection with yourself and the other beings.
The DreamGlade “dream team” makes you feel completely safe and protected. Stace, the founder, gives careful attention to you and every detail, outstanding job. Estella, the curandera, is amazingly powerful, talented, hard working and extremely good human being.
Drew, the assistant, beyond being super professional and highly knowledgeable, is one of the most loving and caring person I met in my life, a special soul.
Also the cook and the other people working there are always extremely nice, with a very special good energy.
I left with a feeling that giving yourself and the others the room to be in whatever way they need to be can really work.
I am looking forward to coming back for my next step.

I highly recommend DreamGlade !!

Jackie V – California, U.S.A.

I recently spent 6 nights and 7 days at Dreamglade with my boyfriend. The experience was absolutely life changing. The small and intimate environment allows you to either bond closely with other participants or take some alone time to process whatever the ayahuasca brought up for you.

Drew, Stace and Estella created a warm, welcoming environment that was exceptionally conducive to healing and understanding the process. The retreat would not have been the same without Drew, who spent a lot of time counseling me, supporting me and even making me laugh when I didn’t think laughing was possible.
The environment is safe, supportive and loving. In addition, Estella went out of her way to help heal and energetically clean participants.

If you are looking for a retreat with emphasis on personal growth and release, Dreamglade is definitely the place to spend time. I highly recommend Dreamglade and will certainly be back!

Pavel M – Romania

I am writing this review, 3 weeks after the ayahuasca.

It was my 3rd time in Peru, coming special for ayahuasca. I been to 2 other centers before.
I was in a 12 days retreat with 6 ceremonies, I had the dieta with Pinon Colorado.
I am really happy that I found this place. It is not pure traditional place, but the good thing is that they have really really good shaman, which is huge ! I say that from my experience, when you do this kind of work, the shaman is really important, the purity of their intention and their ability to protect the place.

At the last 2 centers I received some really nice benefits from ayahuasca, but at the same time I received some negatives too. Especially at the last center, it really affected me for next several months until I came to this place.
Another great thing is that you get much more personal attention and care, from Drew and Stacy. The personal healing from Estella, the care she gives to every person. And the fact that we discuss our experience, next morning after the ceremony, getting advice, encouragement.
Being able to be transported from the city to the place is another great benefit, I used to walk for a very long distance to the other places that I been to.
The place is quite deep in the jungle, but you have showers and stuff.
I appreciate that they don’t overcharge, like the other centers do, getting greedy. The price of this place is really ok, considering for what you get for the price.

I had a really hard time with each ceremony, the best advice ever, to keep you grounded is to smoke mapacho, natural amazon tobacco !
I think the dieta is really important. It really worth it, for me !

The first 3 ceremonies were really hard, I was like in a dark place, struggling… and after that I had 2 really great ceremonies where I was like in a really beautiful garden, I still felt the negative energies trying to creep in, but this beautiful garden was protecting me. That was the point where I connected with the plant that I dieted on. I can’t even describe the feeling. It was the most beautiful feeling that I had in my life ! I felt it in every cell of my body, like a pleasant tingling.

My experience.
I am really really happy that I did this, it was a really hard process, but, I am reaping the benefits now.
I used to have so much anxiety every evening without any reason, and I been having a hard time sleeping, I didn’t have a good sleep for months.
Now, 3 weeks after I finished ayahuasca, my sleep quality improved, very deep and fall asleep easy. I didn’t sleep as good for more than 1 year ! So it’s a big thing for me !
My mind works much better than it’s used to. I have much less internal conflict, I am more clear about what I want, I hesitate less. My body works better than it used to, after all that emotional tensions that I purged..

Suggestion for Dreamglade:
I really hope they do a recording of all the icaros from the ceremonies. The songs are amazing ! And I really like to listen again, I can still hear it playing in my head.
I bought the CD with icaros from Estella, but it was old icaros from other shamans, not the icaros that she sings in the ceremonies.

Andy W – Bristol, U.K.

Thank you Dreamglade for providing me with one of the best experiences of my life ! I had such an incredible time at this beautiful shamanic healing centre, where I learnt an incredible amount about myself and life itself.

Stace has done such a great job in creating the perfect ayahuasca centre, it is on such a beautiful setting around a natural lake which you can swim in. Swimming the day after a ceremony feels amazing and really connects you with the earth.

I have so much love for all the staff at Dreamglade. Stace and Drew are two of the most caring, non-judgemental, big hearted people I have ever met. They do all they can to ensure you feel safe during each ceremony and are always there for a chat, to listen to whatever it is you have on your mind and to give you advice. Feeling safe during a ceremony is essential and at Dreamglade you couldn’t feel any safer and in more trustworthy hands.

Estella the shaman is a lovely, very talented and extremely hard working woman. She works continuously throughout the ceremony to make sure it is a safe, healing environment and I have a lot of respect for her. Even the cook at Dreamglade is amazing !!

The local kids sometimes come to the centre to play and this creates a really nice environment along with helping you to bring out your inner child which really helps during ayahuasca trips. There are also two dogs and two cats at Dreamglade which creates a really nice comforting atmosphere.

I left Dreamglade feeling more alive than I ever had before, I felt so in touch with my emotions and understanding of my ego, and even after 3 weeks I still feel incredible ! Sharing my experience with some beautiful, good hearted people at Dreamglade only made my ayahuasca journey even more positive. I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to take ayahusca and I will be back one day 🙂

Damien – Canada

My name is Damien I’m a 20 years old and I came from Canada to visit Dreamglade retreat center.

This was my first ayahuasca retreat I stayed for 8 ceremonies and I had a very good experience receiving healing and insight into my life.

When I was originally looking for ayahuasca centers I was skeptical of retreat centers wondering if they had a good setup and good people that were not just interested my money.

When I got to Dreamglade before my first ceremony Stace explained to me everything I needed to know in a very authentic and caring way and at that point after seeing the beautiful retreat center and meeting all the nice people there I felt a hundred percent safe and on the right track.

I think Dreamglade is a solid retreat center and there is a lot of good energy going around there and it attracts a lot of good people with good intentions.

I am very thankful to Stace, Drew, Estella, and the care takers for helping me.

Natasha – London, U.K.

I did a lot of research for an ayahuasca retreat that I felt would give me the safest and most authentic experience and I am so glad I choose Dreamglade !
My best friend and I attended together, unfortunately we only had four days spare so only got to participate in two ceremonies, however we both had amazing experiences and felt we gained a lot from our time there.
The location is lovely, it provides a beautiful and peaceful surrounding so you can begin to disconnect from all of the distractions in the city and relax amid the natural surroundings.
During the ceremonies Stace and Drew are amazing and will help you through any tough times, they are such lovely people and made the whole experience that much better.
I will definitely be returning in the future to take part in more ceremonies (and stay for a longer period of time), and would recommend Dreamglade to anyone!

Tanya – London, U.K.

Hi everyone !!

Just wanted to share my life changing experience at the Dreamglade.
I have just spent the entire month there! Having a few days in Iquitos and going back for two more months.

It was my first time drinking ayahuasca and I was doing a lot of research online about the retreats but something has just drawn me to that place…And my intuition was right, because the minute I arrived I got a feeling that Im going to stay there the entire duration of my trip.

The location is so beautiful! There are hardly any mosquitoes although natural spay can be handy at night time. The lake is nice and clean and so pleasant to swim in during sunny afternoons or even at night! Sounds of the jungle are truly magical…

Accommodation is super clean. Beds are very comfortable in both tambos and the maloka. I heard from people who stayed in various retreats that its the best maloka in Iquitos: very new, clean, bug free and those polished floors are like silk on your feet. I really appreciated modern super clean bathrooms especially during ceremonies as I spent a lot of time in those LOL.

Stace is a really cool guy, very insightful and experienced, always ready to help with whatever you need. He really helped me a lot as I had really tough time during first few ceremonies, and he was literally babysitting me and talking me through with his calming voice. I even wanted to quit and go home at one point and he talked me through my fears next day and prior to ceremony. I dont think I would have done it without his support.

So if you are drinking ayahuasca first time especially- I really recommend this place because people here really care and you will feel safe and looked after and can definitely trust them.

Drew is another gift from God, just pure bliss! Super generous, very insightful, spiritual, intelligent and hard working, always there when you need him. He became my dear friend during my stay, we shared such great conversations. Cant wait to go back in a few days- there I found people who really get me and that I can relate to.

Estella the curandera is soooo good, she is really powerful, she genuinely cares about people and can help with pretty much everything! I myself felt how powerful she is when she was working on me. She really knows how to keep the ceremonial space clean from bad energy and there is always nice quiet atmosphere during ceremonies.

Most people during my stay had life changing experiences. The only few who didnt its because they only had 3-4 ceremonies which in my opinion is not enough for ayahuasca to fully connect with you. I needed 4 ceremonies just to clean stuff out and learn how to let go before I started to have a real blast.

Ayahuasca is super potent and people had amazing visions and I myself had life changing revelations. They add huambisa to it as well which is much more potent in DMT than chakruna alone, so for me personally only half a dose needed to enjoy the experience all night long.

Drinking ayahuasca at Dreamglade, being surrounded by caring people and nature has really changed my life. I have learned to love unconditionally, to except everything and everyone, let go of resistance, attachment, judgement. I finally found peace and became whole again. I definitely have got everything I came for and much much more. But the learning process never ends with ayahuasca therefore im staying longer and i’m open to everything she is willing to show me.

I am wishing everyone to find what they are looking for and strongly advise to have as many ceremonies as you can afford. It is the best investment you can ever make as this plant is a truly a magical healer.

Love Tanya

Raymond Hoevenaar – Holland

For over a year my son Max and I were thinking about taking Ayahuasca and visiting a retreat center to do so. The ‘calling’, I have to say was initially stronger felt by Max than by me but it turned out that I needed it a thousand times more than he did.
After some surfing on the net and reading and viewing a lot of reviews and testimonials we came across the website of Dreamglade. It immediately felt right. And how ‘right’ we were. Dreamglade gave us everything and more than we asked and hoped for.
The location is magical, amidst the beautiful Amazonian Jungle, far away from ‘civilisation’ (no mobile, no internet) and other ‘modern’ distractions. The tambos are nice and comfortable and the Maloca is perfect. So are the other amenities as well as the cooking of Martha, who provided us with great meals every day.
But the prime ‘assets’ of Dreamglade are Drew and Stacy. And not to forget ‘curandera’ Estella. What a splendid team. The way Stacy is running his centre is a unique combination of professionalism and personal dedication and care. Because of the ’boutique-size’ of the retreat everybody gets the attention he or she needs. From all three of the staff involved and customized to your needs.
My first ceremony was the worst night of my life. I had visions so horrible and dark, I can not start to explain. Really beyond belief. I am absolutely sure, I would not have stayed if it weren’t for Drew and Stacy. They guided me through the night, supporting me, helping me, encouraging me to ‘get rid of all negativity’, in other words, do the cleaning almost a lifetime overdue. And I did. And although I promised myself never to do Ayahuasca again, I went up for the next ceremony, and the 3rd and the 4th.
It changed my life. Not only did I clean myself of tons of negative feelings, I also felt physically more healthy than ever before (also thanks to the great Ajo Sacha Dieta we took simultaneously) with a smooth skin, a firm body and a total release of little ache’s and pains.
The first night was the worst I have had, the last ceremony was the best night I have had. It reminded me again how beautiful life is and how lucky we are to be able to experience all this. Ayahuasca showed me ‘the light’ again and gave new direction to my life. All this largely thanks to Stacy and Drew. The most dedicated, sweet, welcoming yet still down to earth people I have met. That counts as well for most of the other guests we have met during our stay at Dreamglade. We left with tears in our eyes but with love in our hearts and new friendships to enjoy.
I have written an extensive essay on my experiences at Dreamglade in Dutch, our native language. If you are able to read this and if you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact me (raymondhoevenaar@gmail.com) and I will mail it to you. Also any other questions on our stay at Dreamglade I am happy to answer.
To conclude my review: I definitely will be back again some day in Iquitos and most certainly will be staying at Dreamglade again.
Absolutely perfect.

Liam R – U.S.A.

I strongly recommend Dreamglade. The location is beautiful, the healers skilled and passionate about their work, and the medicine is powerful. I stayed for one week and will be sending my friends here and coming back next year or the year after. This is the place to go – and their scheduling is flexible. Email them now!

Thor – U.S.A.

A truly outstanding experience.

I don’t know that you could find a management team equal to Stacy and Drew. These are two kind men who will guide you through a life-changing experience with grace and compassion. Doing aya can be an utterly terrifying experience at times, but I never felt afraid: Stacy watched over everyone closely during ceremonies and Drew was around to help you through any difficult experience you might be going through. Aya can be a blissful experience, too, and these are two magnetic guys you’d want to be around in that state too.

Though I didn’t know them long, I consider both men friends. Stacy conducts a sort of morning-after processing session, and you couldn’t find better analysis of what you found in your subconscious if you went to therapy for two years. He’s as experienced as you’ll find, and, as he’ll tell you, he’s been through it all — his advice is sage, and it’s imbued with a humility you won’t typically find from a person so learned.

And the staff that works with them?

Can’t say enough about the female shaman, who was both gentle and powerful. The food was excellent despite necessary blandness due to being on the aya diet, and everyone was nice.

The accommodations were cool — the moloka will take your breath away. I stayed in it and loved my experience. They also have smaller huts along the lake. Don’t even get me started with the lake. Cool yourself during the day, and get punched in the gut by nature’s beauty on the dock after a ceremony.

I had no idea what to expect when I booked my trip and flew to Peru. It was my first time, and I was terrified. I had an A+ experience, and I attribute that to the people at Dreamglade. Yes, the price is a steal. Yes, the land is special. Yes, the brew is everything it’s cracked up to be and more. But it is the staff that makes Dreamglade a must-go.

Can’t wait to see y’all again.

Thomas M – U.S.A.

It’s difficult to articulate how much I owe to Stacy, Drew, and Isabel.

The visit to Dreamglade was, without a doubt, the most beneficial decision I have ever made. The experience with Ayahuasca was just as indescribable: difficult, beautiful, and informative. Just a few of the adjectives I would use to attempt to interpret the teachings.

Initially, I found it difficult to reintegrate into my previous life. When I left home for Peru, my life ‘situation’ was an unfortunate mess (one of the central reasons for my journey) and when I returned, it was much of the same. Though as the months past, a funny phenomenon was slowly transpiring. Ayahuasca stays with you, works with you.

Nearly 4 months later, everything seems much clearer and life has never been so beautiful 🙂

Thank you Dreamglade, and thank you Ayahuasca. I look forward to one day returning, and grateful that I have Ayahuasca at my side throughout the rest of this adventure called life.

Adam M – Canada

I truly can’t say enough about Stacy and Drew, and all of the staff at Dreamglade.

As a westerner (Canadian) coming down for my first experience, there is nothing more they could do to foster the conditions for a positive introduction to ayahuasca. From the moment you meet both of them, you will understand what I mean, and see that the only goal they have is to ensure you are taken care of, comfortable, and safe.

The mix of the traditional ceremony, along with the attention to detail that went into the design of the centre, is perfect for first timers. Stacy is very transparent and easy to communicate with, answering any questions or concerns you have in his native English, which is very comforting ahead of time when travelling to the jungle. He has created a small paradise at his location, where the pictures that he provides on his site don’t even come close to doing justice to the beauty of his lakeside Maloka, and the breathtaking jungle which surrounds it.

They are all so attentive and caring throughout your visit, and ESPECIALLY during the ceremony itself, helping people through difficult experiences, and constantly checking in with everyone to make sure you have everything you need, whatever it might be.

Dreamglade holds a very special place in my life after my visit, as do Stacy, Drew and Estella.

My only hesitation with giving it such a positive review, is that there will likely be no availability when I want to come back for my second visit, because they will be full with all the visitors they truly deserve.

Thanks again Stacy, Drew and Estella, I can’t thank you enough for your dedication and love.

Christine S – U.S.A.

I highly recommend this retreat. I was traveling through Peru and had wanted to try Ayahuasca but had heard of many bad experiences with fake shamans so had fear especially traveling alone as a woman. I heard about this retreat by word of mouth from someone who had just completed it and had loved their experience and changed my flights to attend. I am so, so glad I did. It was an amazing experience.

The location is fantastic and one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. There are minimal Mosquitos for being in the middle of the rainforest, the accommodations are beautiful and comfortable, and Stace the owner and his assistant Drew are two of the kindest, most genuinely caring people I have ever met. Their priority is making you comfortable and taking care of you during this experience. They chat with you before the ceremonies (or whenever you want outside of them) to help you feel safe and comfortable, to know what to possibly expect, and to know you are safe and they will look out for you and help you through whatever experience you have.

With a day between each ceremony it gives you time to reflect on your experience and grow from it. The ayahuasca is very high quality, many of the people during my retreat had very strong visions. My personal experience did not include visions per say, but I found I was filled with reflections on my life, my intentions, how I could grow and at my last ceremony felt the most complete sensation of contentment, love and gratitude I have ever felt in my life.

When I left I could feel I had changed in how I appreciated being alive and being able to feel the things that I do, physically and emotionally. The Shaman, Estella, was amazing and had the most beautiful Icaros I have ever heard. We could feel how hard she worked every ceremony, directing, protecting and guiding all of us.

The type of people that come to this retreat as well are incredible, interesting, kind and open minded. I was so glad I came to this retreat in particular, they do a very good job of doing what works the best, but still being very traditional in the shamanic sense and the plant diets. The food was delicious and they have a very sweet dog and cat that I think only add to the loving environment. It was one of the most calm, caring, free places I have ever been and completely worth the extra cost of changing my flights. I couldn’t recommend this experience more.

Marketa – Czech Republic

Very beauty environment!! Very comfortable clear and clean tambos.
Having few difficult moments during the ceremony we have got full attention and incredibly much love from Drew and Stace. Definitely one of my best life experiences not just regarding to the Plant but also the people working there. The food was made with love, everything very clean – even if is in the middle of the amazing jungle…
Still feel very blessed to meet this opportunity.
Shanti OM 🙂

Jim – Florida, U.S.A.

This was the first time I tried ayahuasca and I can honestly say it was one of the most fascinating experiences of my life. Right from the time Stacy picked me up from the centre of Iquitos, I felt extremely welcome and right at home. The lakeside jungle setting in my mind was nothing short of perfect and I can’t imagine experiencing this anywhere else.

The ceremonies in the maloka with Isabels icaros, along with Stacy and Drews assistance made for a memorable and surprisingly relaxed atmosphere, which allowed me to really absorb the magnitude of what was happening to me and the group.

Thanks again! I will be back.

Max R – London, U.K.

This place is perfect. It was my first time trying ayahuasca here and I couldn’t have wished for more!

For me the balance seemed just right between idyllic jungle setting and some nice western comforts (e.g. Nice showers, thoroughly mosquito-netted huts, English speakers). Fresh food with lots of vegetables. The time flew for me just living at an enjoyable pace – having a swim, reading, talking, kayaking around the little lake, walking out into the jungle, doing yoga, finding beautiful tree-frogs and butterflies hanging out nearby.

I was out there for 5 days (3 ceremonies) and felt comfortable right from the start. I got more out of each successive ceremony and loved every one of them. Stacy and Drew were on hand throughout to support us. One person who was there at the same time as me was struggling with some deep personal pain and the level of help they gave this person was inspiring to see.

I could go on for some time about how great it is but really just go and see for yourself. Such nice people and a beautiful setting. I didn’t even really realise I was lost until I did some soul-searching during the week and I feel great now – really refreshed. I can see why people have said ayahuasca is like a rebirth!

I think without exaggeration I’d rate this as the favourite week of my life thus far. I give it twelve stars out of five.

John W – Texas, U.S.A.

I recently spent 5 days at Dreamglade and I enjoyed every minute. The staff are great and very caring and personable. The owner was happy to pick us up from our hostel and drive us to Dreamglade which is located in a beautiful and fairly remote location outside of Iquitos.

An ayahuasca diet was included with our stay. It was three meals a day (sans dinner on ceremony nights) of plain but very fresh and tasty food – lots of fresh vegetables.

We participated in three ayahuasca ceremonies, including one on our very first night there. The ceremonies are beautiful and I felt very safe and cared for. The architecture of the maloka is awesome, it was a pleasure to experience the ceremonies in such a great space.

Despite the apparent lunacy of traveling to the Amazon Jungle to drink an awful tasting viscous concoction that induced vomiting and wild “out of body” visions and experiences, I felt absolutely safe and was never afraid even for a second.
After staying in hostels for a week and a half I really enjoyed the perfectly clean bathroom facilities.

I have recommended Dreamglade to many of my friends. For the reasonable price, high quality, and exceptional experience – it can’t be beat.

Romina – California, U.S.A

My experience at Dreamglade was outstanding. To begin with, the facilities are amazing, brand new, and built under the close supervision of Stacy, the owner, who is so passionate about his center and will really make sure you have a great time down there.
So, like I said, beautiful and great facilities, surrounding a lake where you can go swimming! The private bungalows with view to the lake are nice and cozy, and provide enough privacy.

The ceremony was for me personally, the best I’ve experienced (I’ve taken ayahuasca a handful of times). Powerful medicine, great shaman. Dona Isabel is great at healing icaros. We had a full moon that night, and when the trip was over, we were met by the brightest, fullest moon reflecting on the lake and casting shadows on the jungle, I thought that was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen in my life.

I specially recommend Dreamglade for anybody who wants to try Ayahuasca for the first time. Aside from all the other perks, there’s just a laid back, unpretentious, safe environment vibe. The staff lead by Stace are friendly, accessible and ready to answer all questions.
I would definitely come back here for Ayahuasca on my next trip to Iquitos.
Thank you!!

Leah – Texas, U.S.A.

I had asked around Iquitos and several people mentioned that I should go to Stacy’s center.

People mentioned he had a beautiful place and a great, legitimate shaman who was also female (which if you are a girl, I would STRONGLY recommend).

I spent a week at the property, doing a total of 3 Ayahuasca sessions with Isabel.

I can not recommend enough how amazing she was and how beautiful the property is. The rumors were true ! The whole experience was very helpful for personal issues I have had in my life. During the ceremonies Stace was always making sure that everyone was okay, and he would call Isabel over to do some healing on me if I needed it. He did a good job of balancing the group, even if one person (me usually!) needed more help.

The environment was small and supportive. Each day following the ceremonies we would talk about what we experienced the night before. Personally the ceremonies were difficult, but I couldn’t have been at a better place. Isabel is very knowledgeable and has been practicing since she was a teenager. She is very inspiring, so talk to her and listen to her stories!

The week I spent there, the group was very supportive, the center was beautiful, the shaman was amazing and Stace did a great job at organizing it all. People came for all sorts of reasons, but If you want to heal for some reason or another, I really recommend this safe environment.

Jann – London, U.K.

I’ve drunk Ayahuasca quite a number of times, with quite a number of shamans, in quite a number of locations and this has got to be my favourite.

First off, the location is stunningly beautiful, away from everything but really only a short distance from Iquitos in Stacy’s four wheel drive. The maloka (ceremony house) and tambos (cabins) are set round a natural lake that you can swim in, complete with water lilies. For me, being next to the body of water added even more to the calm and safe feeling of the centre. The deck also provides a great space to soak up some jungle sunshine! Thankfully, there are few pesky bugs or mosquitos but plenty of wildlife such as butterflies, dragon flies, frogs, birds and even a few toucans that do a normally rarely seen fly-by.

The staff are fabulous. Isabel is such an experienced and skilled shaman. I felt that working with a woman shaman added a very special level of wisdom, not only for other females as myself, but also for the guys that were there. And she oozes experience that has been built by being part of generations of curanderos. Stacy is great. He’s natural and refreshingly unpretentious in what can be a minefield of ‘woo woo’ Ayahuasca centres.

I went for one ceremony and was so impressed I straight after booked myself in for a ‘dieta’. Isabel is incredibly attentive and regularly checked how it was going. Throughout the week I felt so cared for by Isabel, Stacy and Drew and the rest of the staff. It made it very easy to relax and take full advantage of the dieta process.
The centre is also incredibly comfortable and so clean, with modern tiled toilets in the main area, and the tambos and other areas keep a great authentic look and feel at the same time as being clean and safe. The attention to quality and detail is lovely. And the food is fresh, good and plentyful.

I really liked the Ayahuasca ceremonies, again always with a lot of care and attention with quality Ayahuasca. There were a number of people who were drinking for the first time and a lot of time and attention was taken to explain it and provide help. I see it as a very good place for anyone wanting to experience Ayahuasca for the first time. The maloka is beautiful and spacious, with polished local wood floor. I had a tambo, but on ceremony nights I chose to stay with the group and sleep in this lovely maloka after each ceremony.

Everything about the place helped everyone to relax and really make the most of the experience. The location, buildings, staff, food and of course to remember the resident pets – the very entertaining and affectionate cats and dogs.

I feel very lucky to have found this delightfully exquisite and special place – I hope you find it as well. I know I’ll be returning.

Thank you everyone at Dreamglade.

Drew W – Texas, U.S.A.

My name is Drew W from Austin, Texas and I thought I’d share what my experience has been at Dreamglade Ayahuasca Center. I was in Peru last year for ayahuasca, drinking at a different center, and feel now that i have a basis for comparison.

First off Dreamglade has a beautiful space deep in the jungle and has all the amenities you may or may not (depending on the center) be accustomed to. Proper, well maintained, western style bathroom and shower facilities, a beautiful maloka and tambos (huts) that are well protected from mosquitoes, even a lake that we all swam in almost every day.

Stacy, the owner and operator is very detail oriented and takes care of his guests from beginning to end, from transportation to the center to discussion groups in the morning to help the guests process their experiences with the resident shaman/curandera present to give her feedback. Stacy brings an easygoing, confident, knowledgeable approach that comes from years of personal experience with the plant that he readily shares with guests. He sets a good tone right off that lets you know you’ll be taken care of.

Which brings me to the real secret of Dreamglade: the medicine. Having now something to compare it to, the medicine at Dreamglade is very powerful indeed. Isabel, the resident shaman curandera has over 40 years experience with plant medicine and healing.

The Shipibo-Conibos are well known for being top notch healers (according to Jeremy Narby in “The Cosmic Serpent), they say it’s like going to Harvard. In my previous experience, our shaman was seldom around outside of ceremony, and seldom spoke. That’s not a knock: only an observation.

Isabel is very easy to approach, is very warm and caring, and often interacts with the guests, patiently and thoughtfully answering questions and always ready to laugh. She personally supervised our ‘dieta’ and how we were responding to the plants and made adjustments accordingly. In ceremony, there was a huge difference in my own experience. I’ll take Isabel every time. I knew i was in good hands. I encourage you to at least check out the website and maybe give Stacy a call if you’re thinking about going to Iquitos and trying or returning to ayahuasca.

I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.

It has taken me a little while to find the time to write this as I have been travelling quite a bit but I promised Stacy I would do it so here it is.

I had come to Iquitos specifically to try Ayahuasca because I had heard so much about it and I was hoping that it could possibly help me with some issues that I have been struggling with for many years.

Stace’s centre ‘Dreamglade’ had come highly recommended by the owner of the hostel I was staying at but even then I was still feeling very nervous about committing to my first ceremony as I had been advised to be very careful about choosing a place to drink ‘Ayahuasca’.

I needn’t have worried as he came to the hostel the same day to talk to myself and a couple of other guests that were also considering visiting his centre for a ceremony. He immediately made me feel much more at ease as he was very direct and straightforward about what to expect from the ceremony and was also very thorough in his assessment of each of us and whether we were suitable to drink ‘Ayahuasca.’

The place itself is absolutely gorgeous ! It’s just an hour’s drive from the centre of Iquitos but you really feel like you are deep in middle of the jungle. He still has a lot of work to do but what he has achieved so far is really quite incredible. The big ceremonial hut where we drank is just so beautiful, you can really feel the love he has put into it and it really is a very special place for the ceremonies. Apparently he plans to do yoga classes there as well in the future which would be just perfect.

Before starting the ceremony we had another short talk, so that he could explain to us what to expect and also to give us some basic guidelines to insure that we had as safe and enjoyable experience as possible. Then each of us were led to talk to Isabel so that she could check that we were ok to drink and also to answer any questions we might have.

They initially gave me just half a cup as they both felt it was better that I started off gently so I could get used to the effects of the Ayahuasca and then I could drink a bit more later on if I felt that I needed it.

I didn’t really get much from that first cup and didn’t vomit so after about an hour they decided to give me another half a cup and very soon afterwards I started to feel quite nauseous and a warm tingling in my body. Quite soon after I vomited into the bucket I was supplied with and almost the same instant I started to see beautiful, moving geometric shapes in bright colours and even some snakes and grinning monkeys ! I have never taken any drugs before so it came as quite a shock but it wasn’t unpleasant at all and throughout the experience I felt completely safe and looked after especially as Stacy was checking on me regularly to make sure I was ok.

Isabel’s singing was really soothing, it even felt as though she was taking me on a journey, sometimes lifting me up, other times gently bringing gently back down to earth. When she did the one on one work with me I felt like a tremendous weight was being lifted off of me, it was really beautiful.

I couldn’t possibly explain everything that went on during that night, it was such a profound experience and left me feeling more calm and at peace than I have felt in many, many years. Unfortunately I only had time to do two ceremonies at Dreamglade but I will never forget the incredible experiences I had there and I am already planning my next trip back sometime next year !

I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try Ayahuasca. They are so loving and supportive, the place is really special and I felt very well taken care the whole time I was there. I really wish Stacy all the best with his new project. He really deserves to do well.

From the moment we arrived at the magical place that is Dreamglade we were made very welcome and treated like old friends. During the drive in through the jungle the excitement and anticipation levels kept rising…what is it going to be like? Nothing could prepare me for how beautiful a spot it is…an incredible Moloka on the edge of a lake surrounded by jungle…the word idyllic doesn’t do the place justice!

I felt very honoured and privileged to be the 1st guests at such a special place. It is evident that a lot of thought and effort has gone into ensuring that the stay is as comfortable as possible. Lots of hammocks to chill and swing in, clean western toilets and incredible showers…the pressure put my shower in the UK to shame!

So, the ceremonies…in a nut shell – awe inspiring. Was a bit nervous prior to doing them as was entering unknown territory. But was comfortable in the knowledge that I was in very good hands and would be completely looked after, which I was. It provided a clear connection to the earth and mother nature, a truly cleansing experience…both physically, mentally and spiritually. The shaman controlled the flows of energy and spirits in the Moloka, I felt very safe and guided. Felt incredible to be part of a tradition and practice spanning back 10s of thousands of years. Its difficult to put the experience into words, you have to try it for yourself and you’ll understand.

I couldn’t have dreamt of a more special and perfect place to have such an incredible experience, one that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Dreamglade….the place where your dreams really do become a reality, I will be back for more that’s for sure!
